It's a few months later and Maya is 37 weeks. Boden has just left so she has been picking up the slack at the firehouse but not going out onto calls. She has been very stressed as Boden has left everything in the wrong place
"How hard is it to organise a cabinet?" Maya shouts looking in a cabinet
"Why don't you sit down for a sec?" Kelly says guiding Maya down to the couch
"Ugh! He's left everything all over the place! And I'm huge! I can't even fit through the door! And My ankles are swollen and I cry all the time! I need this thing out of me!" Maya shouts looking at her belly
"Okay! Calm down! We're fine! Your gonna get the office sorted and you only have 3 weeks left! Or you could go tomorrow! Everything's gonna work out fine!" Kelly says calmly
"Okay! I'm gonna be fine! I need to finish the cabinet! Could you get me a tea please?" Maya asks
"Sure!" Kelly says as Maya gets up
Kelly walks out and Maya calms herself down before getting back to it. She finally has 3 piles of paperwork, all the incident reports, all the transfers and all of the files of everyone in the firehouse
"Okay! Now to find the perfect spot for these!" Maya says as she walks over to a new cabinet when Kelly walks in with Casey
"We have your tea! Anything else you need?" Kelly asks
"Umm could you get me some honey? And babe do you still have that extra pair of sweatpants in your locker?" Maya asks
"Yeah why?" Casey replies
"My water has just broke! But I'm too busy to go to the hospital! And I'm not gonna go into active labour for at least another hour!" Maya says looking down at the puddle of water on the floor
Casey runs to get his sweatpants whilst Maya just confines organising
"Maybe you should sit down?" Kelly asks cautiously
"I need to finish this" Maya says as Casey runs back in with the sweatpants in his hand
Maya grabs them and changes and 5 minutes go by. Casey and Kelly just stare at her
"Okay! Let's get you to a hospital! Now!" Casey says firmly
"I need to finish the bookshelf! Then I'll go!" Maya says grabbing some books
"Look Maya! I don't really wanna clean up your insides off the floor so if your gonna do it here at least do it outside!" Kelly says as Casey nudges him
"Quit talking!" Casey mutters
"What!" Kelly says rubbing his arm
"Will you two stop! I'm fine! I've got a few more minuets!" Maya says as she gets a sharp pain in her stomach
"Ahh!" Maya says as she clutches her belly and falls to the ground
"Maya!" Casey shouts as he runs over to her followed by Kelly
"Okay! Maybe I wasn't too sure!" Maya says panting
"It's okay just breath!" Casey says smiling
"Ahhhh!!!!" Maya screams at the top of her lungs
