It's been a month since Maya told the firehouse and she is now 7 and a half months along. Pregnancy hormones have really been kicking in. Maya is at home with Casey and Kelly and they are watching a movie
"I mean what did the fish do to deserve that?" Maya says as she gets tears in her eyes
"Maya! It's an advert!" Kelly says
"About finding nemo!" Casey says as he smirks
"I know! But he was only a small little fish and he went through all of that?" Maya says practically sobbing by now
"Are you crying?" Casey says putting his arm around her
"No!" Maya says shoving his arm off
"Are you sure?" Kelly asks
"Okay maybe I am!" Maya says as she wipes the tears from her eyes
"Come here!" Casey says pulling her into a hug
"Pregnancy hormones!" Casey whispers to Kelly
"What was that?" Maya shouts
"Nothing honey!" Casey says
"No! You said something! Do you think I'm fat! I know I'm fat okay! But I can't help it! I'm growing a human in here! I can't help it!" Maya shouts as she points to her belly
"We didn't call you fat!" Casey says looking at Kelly for help
"We! Oh so now you think I'm fat too!" Maya shouts looking at Kelly
"Didn't need to bring me into this!" Kelly whispers to Casey
"I think you look beautiful Maya! The prettiest mother to be!" Kelly says smiling
"How about we get you to bed?" Casey asks as Maya nods
It's an hour later and Maya has just fallen asleep
"Is she always gonna be like this?" Kelly asks rubbing his temples
"I know! I have a headache already! And we still have 3 months to go!" Casey says handing Kelly a beer
"This is going to be the longest 3 months of our life's!" Kelly says as they open their beers
"Damn right it is!" Casey says as they cheers their beers
It's the next morning and Maya is getting ready for shift when she feels something in her belly
"Matt! Kelly! Get your asses in here!" Maya shouts holding her belly
"What?" The both say running in
"Feel this!" Maya says as she takes both of their hands and places them on her belly
"The baby's kicking!" Maya says smiling
"There definitely gonna be a firefighter!" Kelly says smiling
"Or a boxer! God these kicks are strong!" Casey says shocked
"But he definitely got that off his mum!" Kelly says as Maya laughs
"We can't wait to meet you little one! Just be healthy and happy for us!" Maya says to her belly
