Chapter 11 - Fights, Job and Josh

Start from the beginning

I opened my eyes to see a smiling Andrew beside me. "Cheater." I accused him. "Tris wasn't supposed to come in between." I glare at him to which he laughs. "Surprise element Violet."

I sigh and get up. "I'm going to freshen up." I took a shower and went back for breakfast.

We all immediately dug in.

"We really underestimated our princess." Mason says with a grin.

"I'm sorry for knocking you out Mason." I give him a sheepish smile.

"It's fine don't apologise." He says with a smile.

"Who taught you to fight like this?" Allen asks curiously.

"Many people but among them you only know James and Jacob." My brothers stiffened a bit which made me sigh.

"C'mon. They are good boys. I've known then for half my life. I'll set up some date so you'll can meet they."

They all nod their heads and smile. Since it was Sunday we decided to watch movies. Andrew went to work though. W.O.R.K.A.H.O.L.I.C.

I say with Felix on the couch. I didn't get enough sleep last night so I fell asleep halfway. When I woke up my head was in Felix's lap and blanket on top of me. The movie credits were playing on the TV.

I liked around to see Mason looking at me with cold eyes to which I raised an eyebrow.

"Some Josh Turner was calling you an hour ago." I mentally facepalmed because of overprotectivenss and jealousy. I quickly spotted my phone and called Josh while laying in my youngest brothers lap.

Seth's POV

Alina had us shocked because of the fight in the morning. She's absolutely fabulous. She technically defeated everyone.

During the movie she fell asleep. Felix pulled her into his lap and I placed a blanket over her. The two youngest members of the Walker household looked so cute right now. I secretly took a picture.

During the movie some boy called her to which Mason, Allen and Tris were kind of fuming.

She laid back in Felix's lap and called. "Hey Josh... Yup I'm all ears." There was a long pause and her smile was gone. She suddenly shot up and smiled like a maniac. "Is it that our Josh is having a lil crush on that girl? Uhhhu?" She asks playfully.

Felix and I smile at her while others stare. "I won't help until you admit it." She continues the call. "I knew it Josh. I'm really happy for you. I promise I'll look into it and let you know. Just give me some time, I'm not in Southampton at this moment...I'll tell you about that later but just tell her to hang on, I'll definitely help... Yeah yeah your secret is safe with me...byeee."

She started scrolling through her phone. "Don't stare at me you'll. He was a senior in my old school and also a friend." She explains.

"We didn't ask anything." Allen says blankly.

"Oh maybe your mouth didn't but your eyes did."

*Few hours later*

It was evening now. They boys decided on playing games. Alina went to her room after lunch so Felix and I go to call her to join us. The door to her room was slightly open and she was sitting on her study table talking to someone on phone. We didn't mean to eavesdrop but it just happened.

'Hans just send over someone with all the reports, paperwork and my laptop to the address I send....I'm positive Hans. I've settled over here and most probably this is how we'll be working from now on...I love my job Hans....nah I won't leave it just because I shifted to London...yeah....keep an eye on the manager though.....hmmm byee."

Felix and I exchange glances not knowing what to do. Finally I call her out and she looks at us in a little bit shock.

"Did you hear anything?" She asks seriously while scratching the back of her neck.

"I guess we did."

She runs her eyes. "Okay so I'll make it clear. I never left my old job and now I'm resuming. From here."

Felix sighs. "You don't have to work anymore Alina."

She smiles sweetly. "I know but I want to. I love my job."

I took a deep breath. "What exactly is your job?"

She looks down at her feet. "Ummm bar dancer."

"WHAT THE FUCK ALINA." Felix screams at her and my eye widen in horror.

She burst out laughing leaving us confused. After a minute she calms down.

"I'm sorry I was joking. How can I dance from here for a bar in Southampton?" She deadpans. "Anyways I manage the finances and working of a club in Southampton." She adds.

Felix and I visibly relax. "That wasn't a good joke." I pinch her cheeks harshly making her wince.

"Sorry but you know this bkub and job matters a lot to me. I don't think I can leave it anytime soon." I could tell she's emotionally attached to her job.

"Unfortunately you'll have to ask Andrew for this. He's your legal guardian." I say with a shrug.

"Can we just not tell him?" She asks innocently giving us those damn cute puppy eyes.

Felix chuckles. "No sissy. Tell him and use your charm to convince him. I'm sure he'll give in." He says with a wink.

She hugs the door and frowns.

"Don't frown. Let's go to the game room. The boys are waiting for you."

With this Felix and I drag her with us. The game room was already set up.

"I always wanted to teach you how to play games." Tristan says excitedly.

"Me too." Mason chimes in.

"Me three." Allen says.

"Me four." Felix adds as well.

Alina shakes her head and laughs at her brothers silliness. For the next three hours we all play games recklessly.

I noticed that Alina already knows how to okay but she's just pretending not to know.

When it was dinnertime I asked the boys to clear up the room while I took Alina with me to the kitchen. Once we were far away from the game room I asked her, "You know how to play, right?"

She chuckles and mumbles a yes. "They wanted to teach me so bad so I just showed them I didn't know. They would have been disheartened if I told them." She scrunches her eyes cutely making me pull her cheeks.
