Ch60. Happy Too

After giving up on chasing Keigo and eating our chicken nuggets, Touya and I continued to explore the rest of UA's fundraising events. As we did we talked about the events from earlier.

Taking a sip of his drink Touya sighed tiredly. "Well I'm just glad I arrived on time and proposed to you first before any of your fanboys could've. You have too many as it is. Take that one blonde guy from class 3B was it? Mono what?"

I began to chuckle, "Oh you mean Monoma?"

"Yeah him. What's his deal? I thought for a second he was about to fight me."

I doubled over in laughter remembering how Monoma was upset knowing that the rumor of me being engaged was true. Poor Monoma, he was devastated and yet he tried to get Touya to take him on a duel to steal my heart. What a dramatic huh...

"Don't worry about him, he's just like that. He's a good person, deep, deep, deep inside."

"That's a lot of deep." he chuckled as well.

"Well you know, you may say I have a lot of fanboys but I'm pretty sure I got lucky too and no other woman snatched you up before meeting me." I confessed a little nervously.

Touya looked at me with such a serious face for a split second before he shook his head. He seemed a bit shy to speak but clearing his throat he began to explain, "Like I said, I don't got any past girlfriends or women in general who'll come give you hell and try to fight you."

"Oh right because you would have one-night st-"

He smashed his lips onto mine. We passionately kissed and slowly parted after some time. With our foreheads pressed he said, "No, that's not it." closing his eyes a bit then reopening them, he added, "What if I told you, you're the first and only woman I've ever been with?"

My eyes widened. "That's... that can't be possible..." I gasped confused. 

"Why the hell not?" he asked almost offended but more like he didn't understand my confusion.

"You're hot. You're every girl's dream. You're a mix of a bad and good boy. You're pretty great in bed." I explained a bit vaguely. "Or wait! You mean you swing both ways???"

"Oh my God, no [Name] that's not what I'm getting at." he sighed with a hand on his forehead. "I'm a busy man [Nickname]. Well was. I didn't have time for romance. None whatsoever. The secret hero business either gives us a chance to explore one night stands, casual hookups, or long distance relationships or nothing at all. With all the traumas and scarring I had, do you really think I'd be up for that?"

I shook my head slightly, "Now that you say that, no. You may be a flirt sometimes. An awful cheesy flirt. But with what happened with the guys, I saw you had a lot of trust issues and insecurities about yourself."

"Yeah." he nodded, "I... didn't want to know what love meant. But meeting you, now that changed everything. I learned what love is with you."

"So... what you're saying is that... our minds got corrupted at the same time?" 

He nodded bashfully. "Does it bother you? You know... that I-"

I smashed my lips onto his and told him in between kisses, "No. Actually this might sound selfish to say but it makes me happy. I feel like we really are meant to be. It makes me believe that you're really mine and I'm yours."

"It's not selfish at all." he smiled tenderly at me. "But even so, if it wasn't it, you'd still be the only woman for me."

"And you the only man for me Touya."
