The wounds from the past had reopened but unlike before they were to be healed from the source not just from the surface.

"What are you wearing Shoto?" Endeavor looked at his son with such a strange look.

The situation would've been funny in a different circumstance. Touya and I were utterly shaken with anger that laughing was the last thing on our list.

Shoto monotonously replied, "It's none of your concern. What matters is what you're doing? You were going to hit Touya." he glared at his dad. "He's your son, who you haven't sit and talked with since the accident. I don't think this is how he deserved to be treated after all those years."

"You know nothing. He's not the person you think he is." Endeavor argued.

"Oh? And what kind of a person am I Endeavor?" Touya mocking asked, "I'm pretty sure I'm a better person than you are behind closed doors."

Glaring at Touya, Endeavor spoke arrogantly, "You're a disgrace to this family. I can't even express how much you've disappointed me."

Touya's shoulders shook with rage at being humiliated by his own dad. Even I was boiling with anger.

"He is not." Shoto argued. "He's a good person."

"You wouldn't know Shoto, you're different from him. You're different from your siblings. You're the family's pride and joy not some failure." Endeavor told Shoto who had been arguing with his dad for the past ten minutes.

"He's not a failure or a disgrace. You are."

Touya's and my eyes widened seeing Shoto had spoken up and confronted his dad. I held Touya's slightly hot hand and gave it a squeezed.

"What? Shoto, you-" Endeavor's words were interrupted.

"You promised Fuyumi, Natsu, and I that you were going to be the father we deserved. A father who would understand us more and be there for us, support our decisions and respect us. Touya is alive and he's your son too. He deserves that same promise we were given. It's the least you can do."

Touya remained with a shock expression as we listened.

"Touya's suffered too much already. He doesn't deserve more." Shoto sighed, "If I hadn't listened to you, I wouldn't have hurt Touya in the way that I did. I made that mistake once... to ignore Touya's true feelings, but not anymore. He's not alone."

"Shoto, you don't understand. Everything I do-"

"You only think of yourself. You haven't changed."

An utter silence fell upon us until Shoto turned to see Touya whose cheek was redden. Shoto's mismatched eyes widened with hatred.

"You... you hit Touya!?? Why??? He's your son too! He doesn't deserve that! Can't you see that?" Shoto's emotions were spiraling out. I hadn't seem him this mad since the time he and Katsuki argued about the spilled soba on the floor.

"He deserved it! He doesn't know how to respect his elders." Endeavor countered.

"That's not true!" Touya snapped out of his shock and replied enraged, "I only spoke the truth!"

Rolling his eyes the flaming hero added, "You're still the same brat you've always been."

"I am not!" Touya retorted. "Just leave already! If all you wanted was to yell, slap, and insult me then you're done. We have nothing else to talk about."

Endeavor turned towards me who shook his head, "You're seriously wanting to marry this pathetic son of mine?"

"He's not pathetic." I glared at him. "You're really pissing me off talking that way. You don't seem to understand anything at all."
