Like Dead Lavender updated and I need to talk about it so I'm gonna do it here.

I find a lot of similarities between Levight and the relationship between Uta and Kaoru from If I Could Reach You, but what I find really interesting is Levi's and Uta's different views on what's "enough" for them despite being in similar situations.
Uta just wants her love for Kaoru to mean something, Levi just wants to experience the bliss and thrills of this love, even if it's one sided.
Uta doesn't want to experience that because she wants this love to mean something, but she also wants to get over it. She has to.
And want to know what I find the most interesting? Their solutions are the same. Well, Uta's first solution anyway. And it's a kiss.
Levi wants Light, knowing he can't have him but is convinced by Luca to do it just to see what's going to happen, because there's still a chance.
Uta did it to have her relationship mean something so that it will serve for a sweeter taste when she gets over Kaoru and looks back.
I just think that's neat. Read Like Dead Lavender by ToastyWire it's really good, as you can see here lol.
