I like how you can tell what thing most inspired me while I was writing in some chapters of my books.
For the first chapter of Enchanted Captivation, I was mainly inspired by the first few pages of Fahrenheit 451
And the beginning of the second chapter was mainly inspired by the by You and Me and Her, with the entire "center of the universe" thing.
Chapter 5 of Magnet was inspired by the song I was listening to the Girl in Red song, We Fell in Love in October, along with the Love Story but gay rewrite.
I have yet to be mainly and obviously inspired by Madoka Magica. Actually- considering how dark PMMM is, I think it should probably stay that way.
same with MagiReco. Unfortunately, I will not write the squad being in an occult that plan to kill over 1 million people for "the greater good", the leaders being two 11 year olds and a crazy artist who probably uses blood instead of red paint.
