ps. do you like boba tea? I remeber being so excited when I finally tried it, until the first little ball entered my mouth :) The same happened with my friends, at the end we couldn't finish them😔 And it wasn't because we didn't like the tea itself, it's just the texture of the little balls in our mouth was... we weren't used to it. I don't know how to explain it. I feel like in the west we are not that used to foods that are like slimy/slippery (? or like that have a consistency that it's not that solid. But well, maybe it's just a matter of getting used to it.
