The next morning I woke up seeing Carlos wasn't next to me I put a hoodie on and headed downstairs
Ellie was sitting at the counter as Carlos made her breakfast I came over to him
"Hey you don't have to do this I got this .." I said as I whispered in his ear
"Someone has to tell your dad .." he said looking at me
"Right ..." I said rubbing his back
"Are you sure your gonna be good here alone ?" I asked as Ellie went to get ready for school
" yeah I think after I drop Ellie of I might go do something.." he said turning off the stove
" alright we'll text me if you do so I can pick Ellie up ."
"I was gonna .." Carlos said as I Cut him off
"No you take your time I'll pick her up okay ...?"
"Yeah.." he said
I got to my dads house knocking
He answered the door
"Hey have you seen Michelle she won't answer my calls .." he said
I stepped inside
"Dad we should talk ..." I said sitting him down
"What?" He questioned
"Dad last night carlos got a call ...Michelle still had him as her contact if anything happened to her ....."
"What are you saying ...?" He said with tear in his eyes
"Dad she's .. she's gone .." I said looking at him
"No-no she can't be.." he said crying
I wrapped my arms around him as he cried.
"I know dad.." I said
"I know ."
Later that night
Carlos wasn't home yet I picked up a few things so I could make dinner

I was sitting talking to iris as we talked about Michelle

I headed home coming into the house seeing Ellie run to me
"Papa !" She said
"Hey..bug .." I said seeing Tk coming down the steps
"Can you read me a bedtime story please ."
"Ellie -." Tk said
"It's okay I got it .." I said heading upstairs
Ic and back down a few minutes later Tk had two plates of Mac and cheese on the table
"Sorry it's not much ." Tk said as I sat down
I took a bite
"It's pretty good for craft Mac and cheese ." I said looking at Tk seeing he gave me a slight smile
"How are you doing .."Tk asked
"I'm good .." I said looking down at my plate
Tk gave a slight frown
"I'm not good ." I said letting my guard down
Tk got up coming to hug me
"I miss her so much.."I said crying.
"I know you do...." he said
