The whole team was sitting at the kitchen making dinner when Judd walked in
"Welcome back !" We all said clapping as he walked in
We all brought him into a group hug
"It's nice to have you back man ." Paul said
"Glad to be back ." Judd said as we pulled out of the hug
"Strickland don't burn the chili ." Marjan teased
My phone buzzed in my pocket as I went upstairs
"Los is everything okay ?" I said as I heard him breathing heavy
"I -it's stupid.." he said
"It's not stupid what's wrong ."
"It was just a dream .." Carlos said once again sniffling
"That's not stupid ..do you want me to come home?" I asked
"No I'm okay ." Carlos said
"Los just relax and get some rest okay ."
"Okay bye love you ." Carlos said
"Love you to ." I said hanging up my phone to Judd in the doorway
"Is he okay ?" Judd said. Coming into the bunk room
"Yeah ." I said sitting on my bed
"I heard what happened to him .." Judd said making his way sitting next to me on the other bed
"Figured you would .." I said looking at my hands picking a scar
"You doing okay ..?" Judd asked
"Yeah I'll be fine ." I said getting up
"Oh I wanted to thank you for the other day at the house that collapsed ." Judd said looking at me
"That's what brothers are for ." I said a Judd fist pumped me
The smoke alarms went off me and Judd raced downstairs
"What the -" I said as the rest of the team watched Mateo out the pot in the sink as Paul came back into the kitchen
"Mateo what happened I asked you to watch the chilli ." Paul said as we all laughed
" I did ." Mateo said
"He did watch it he just didn't touch it ." Marjan Chimed in
We all laughed
"Yeah it's so funny ." Paul said sarcastically
