"I will never let my girls go. Karin and Kaiya." Sasuke smiled back at his mother.

Suddenly from a distance Sasuke began hearing echoing voices.. then a rush of adrenaline.. what was going on?"

"It's time." Mikoto said as she held onto Sasuke cheeks, looking into her child's eyes one last time..

Sasuke forgetting for a moment that he wasn't entirely dead yet, and didn't know rather if he was taking his last breath or fighting for survival.

"It's not your time yet Sasuke. You will be asleep for sometime but.. You are not dying today." Mikoto tearing up.

"Agriatou Mother. For everything. I promise I will do better this time." Sasuke plead.

"Silly. You have already made us proud. Live your life fully, with family and friends, and keep teaching my granddaughter how to dance. Now as you return to the living, I will finally return to your father's side." Mikoto figure began to become distorted from her feet up, breaking away into small shining particles. The last she was able to do was tap Sasuke head with two fingers.

"Until next time Sasuke.... we love you." The beautiful Mikoto smiling. For the final time.

As his surroundings started to dim Sasuke began to drift into a sleep. The last thing he remembered was Mikoto's warmth before blacking out completely.

"......Until next time... Mother.."

Many voices filled the lobby. Footsteps of Medics and Doctors rushing in to attend to the next injured. Chaotic.

Once the danger of the enemy was no more is when the aftermath quickly took place. Villagers swarming in with their love ones. Begging for help.

Sakura who been at the hospital during the attack, dreaded the very moment when Boruto burst through the main doors. Hollering. Carrying her daughter in his hands as Sakura saw how weak... fragile Sarada look. Boruto too appeared bang up but still only cared for Sarada's sake. Determined.

The worried mother ran towards the young Uzumaki in tears, afraid for her only child's health. Disturb to see the closer she got the worse the picture looked.

"What happened?! What happened Boruto?!" Sakura desperate for an answer. Caressing Sarada's head.

"Gomen. Gomenasai Sakura-san. I rushed to get here without daring to stop." Boruto trying to keep his composure without showing he too felt distraught inside. Dirt and cuts covered the boy's face.

"Ma..mama?" Sarada murmured. Her eyes still remained shut but still was able to hear Sakura's voice clearly.

"Ssshhh Sarada. There is no need to speak.. okay? I'm here now. Everything is going to be okay." Sakura assuring her child. Paging one of her trustee doctors and nurse to take on Sarada as their top patient. Boruto gentle laying her down onto the gurney, bestowing a kiss on Sarada's hand before letting her go.

"I won't leave here until I see you smiling once more.. I promise." Boruto sounding sincere.

"Boruto?.." Sakura moved by the young mans words. Unaware of Boruto's feelings. What she saw next left Sakura speechless.

Before the medic team escorted Sarada to the ICU for immediate treatment, Boruto held onto his dear friend.. afraid of the worse... "You are the only one I don't want to lose.. I can't accept to lose..." Boruto with his head down mumbled. "Sarada... don't you dare die on me."

"DON'T YOU DARE DIE ON ME!"  Were the same words shouted. Screaming with that very same fear. Afraid to lose.
