"Am I.... am I dead?" Sasuke asking without letting go.

Mikoto slowly shook her head. Whispering into Sasuke's ear.

"No son."

"Nani?!"

"Right now you are comatose. Weak and with a faint pulse. Every chakra point in your body is shutting down one after the other. Slowly you're crossing over. That is why you can still feel emotions." Mikoto explained.

"I'm still alive?! How did I even make it even after all that?" Sasuke pulling away but kept a small distance from his Mother. Looking down to her.

"However it seems even after all what you just endured. You didn't die. Yet the soul is still fighting. The soul of true Ninja a Protector." Mikoto reaching to push Sasuke's long bang behind his ear. Exposing the Raven's face entirely for his mother to see.

"You always had my eyes. Something your father use to say. We never stop watching over Itachi and you Sasuke. Never. It tore me to see my sons pain, their suffering, when only I just wanted to hold the both of you." Mikoto feeling Sasuke's face rest within her warm palms. How comfortable he felt.

"Gomen Mother. Gomenasai. It must have been heartbreaking seeing you're only two sons fighting each other. Forgive us." Sasuke plead.

"Ssshh. There's nothing to apologize for. Itachi and you were just kids who unfortunately got tangled in a world of war and greed for power. There's no manual book for something like that." Mikoto with her other hand grabbed Sasuke's.

"Agriatou.. Mother." Sasuke smiling right back at her.

"Now!" Mikoto bursting with energy. "How is my granddaughter doing?" Mikoto blushing red.

"Heh. Kaiya. She's something else.. she's nothing like me. Kaiya is really special. Beautiful like her mother, kind like you, smart like Itachi, discipline like father." Sasuke yet again always leaving himself out of the equation. Mikoto couldn't help but notice this.

"Aye Sasuke. Don't be so harsh. Sure Kaiya inherited a piece from everyone of us- we are family- however, Kaiya's father is you. So of course she's going to be like you!" Mikoto pointing out.

"Agriatou Mother. But I don't know about that last part." Sasuke still not convinced.

"I've watch her grown up to the young women she is now. I would've like to have been there for her in person but.. I can see Kaiya is a lot alike you. More then you think. Kaiya has that same spark in her eyes when she sets her mind on something, like your early training days. Substantial very strong and skilled then most kids of her age, a natural.. like yourself in the academy." Mikoto listed.

"Nani? You have been watching me since way back then?" Sasuke murmured. Looking down to the ground.

"I've been there since then.. and even when you put yourself, your wants and wishes as the very last things that matter. Something that Kaiya does just like you." Mikoto sounding worried.

"It's ironic you say that Mother. Karin once said the same thing to me.. the first night we saw each other after the war. Just like now she express with her persistence's that I shouldn't neglect myself. In her eyes I wasn't the last important thing... Even tho Kaiya hasn't lived a life in hate, I don't want her to ever revert to it.. revert to giving up on everything. Like I did." Sasuke expressed.

"Hm. Kaiya's will is strong, so I'm not too worried. Kaiya Is special like her mother Karin. I'm grateful to her.. her undying love for my son. Know Sasuke she's a one of kind. Don't lose her." Mikoto in a friendly way giving a small lecture.
