I wipe away a tear that had fell but kept my mouth shut and put my head down

"She is not a boy and she didn't deserve any of it! She's an amazing kid and she's worth more than anyone I have ever met!"

"YEAH RIGHT YOU'RE FUCKING DELUSIONAL IF YOU THINK ANY OF THAT! TELL HIM TO BE HOME IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS OR I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL COME FIND HIM. AND IF HE THINKS HE'S SO SMART THEN TELL HIM IF HE DOESN'T COME IN THAT TIMELINE I'LL DO EXACTLY WHAT I DID 2 MONTHS AGO!"

My dad ended the call and Sapnap handed me my phone

I shiver at his last sentence. I couldn't go through that again

Both Sapnap and Karl looked at me with pity 

I hated pity with a passion

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to but, what happened two months ago" Karl asks softly

"I d-don't think I'm ready to talk about it y-yet" I say in between sobs

I was sobbing? God I'm weak

"It's totally ok! Don't worry about it! And don't listen to him, he's wrong. You're a great person!"

No I'm not

"Th-thanks Karl"

"No problem. Can I hug you?"

I nod 

He wraps his arms around me and I end up crying in his shoulder

"I'm gonna kill him" Sapnap says 

I let out a chuckle 

"I'll join you" Karl says as I pull out of the hug

"I would love to watch that" I say with a smile

"But seriously Tommy, he's an asshole and those things he said were completely untrue and you didn't deserve anything he did to you"

"Thank you Sapnap. It was kind of funny to see you yell at him"

"He deserves way worse than what I said"

"That is something I can agree with. And I'm sorry he called you delusional"

"You don't have to apologize for that, I was expecting much worse if I'm being honest"

I hear a knock at the door and I look at Karl confused and he smiles

"There's one more birthday present at the door"

"Huh?"

"Just go open it!" Sapnap says impatiently

"Like the door?"

"Yes!" The both say at the same time

"Chemistry" I say as I walk to the door

"I heard that!" Sapnap says

"You were meant to" I say as I open the door

I look and see Wil standing there

"Wil!"

I smile and hug him tightly not really caring how much I look like a child

" 'ello Tommy" He says hugging me back

" 'ello Wil"

I pull out of the hug and become embarrassed 

"Sorry I was just excited to see you"
