It had been a couple weeks and some things changed.
Ashley had apologized to the group which they all learned to except.
Y/n finally told their mom about their relationship with sal.
Surprisingly their mom was fine with it, or at least that's what they wanted to think.
Even though their mom wasn't even paying attention to the conversation but y/n just brushed it off.
Maple and Chug got together as well.
The group were very happy about the news, even it being obvious.
It was lunch time and everyone were sitting together.
"Does that bologna smell funny to you guys?" Ashley said
"I thought lasts weeks was a little off putting but it's seemed to have gotten worst this week." Todd said looking bothered by the smell.
"I heard it's made from goat meat" Larry said flopping the sandwich around
"Nah it's totally horse ass" y/n said back
"Didn't a bunch of kids call in sick the day after bologna day?" Sal said.
"Uh you guys, can you not ruin lunch for me it's the only good part of the day!" Chug said
"Group huddle? " sal insisted
The group agreed except maple and chug,and make a small huddle in the middle of the cafeteria.
"We need to find out what's up with that Bologna" sal said
"Maybe just bad beef?" Y/n implied
"Or bad goat, I'm telling you dudes that shits like sour and... funky" Larry looked disgusted
"The product is probably a mix of low cost meats like turkey and pork" Todd said.
"Todd man, your making my stomach turn" Larry said, his face gone pal.
"This is like that hotdog incident all over again" y/n said
"God I hope not" Larry commented
"If there is something up with the school meat id like to take it to the lab"
Todd said excited to do research on the meat
"Okay ash you go with Todd to the lab Larry, y/n and I will try to get more information" sal insisted
"Sounds like a plan" Ash said and the rest of the group agreed.
Todd and Ashley headed to the lab while Larry Sal and Y/n decided on hoping they were gonna get the ingredients.
"Maybe we can ask Kim the lunch lady" sal suggested
"I'm not going anywhere near that lady she gives me the creeps." Larry said
"That's a good idea sal!" Y/n said
"Well thanks i-" sal was cut off
"But Larry's right that lady gives me the creeps. "
they continued patting sal on the shoulder
Larry bursted out laughing while sal just stared
"Okay well, I guess I'll... Ask. Her." Sal hesitated but he starting walking toward the lunch lady.
"Hi Kim, we wanted to ask about the bologna. Could you tell us where the school buys it from?" Sal asked
"Why you want to know about bologna eh? Something wrong with Kim's cooking?" Kim said with a stern look at the boy.
"No no, we were just wondering where it-" sal was once again cut off, the poor boy.
"You kids go sit butts in chairs now. No more question" the lady stated.
Y/n and Larry couldn't help but laugh at the boys attempt.
"Well I mean at least you tried" Larry said still laughing
"This is gonna be harder than I thought." Sal sighed
