(Anaya's POV)

I kept fiddling with the comms until I got a signal. "Gary, Quinn can you hear me?", I call out to them.

"Anaya. It's Anaya. Hey, where are you?", Gary called back. "I'm not sure exactly.", I reply.

"Did everyone make it out?", Gary asks. "I haven't seen Mooncake, but everyone else is okay.", I tell them.

I see a red fog coming closer and I say, "Hey, we're heading into some fog." I noticed we were cut off.

"Gary? Gary!", I called out. "Signal lost?", Avocato asks me.

I nod in confirmation. "So we're just gonna sit on this planet chunk and do nothing?", Sheryl asks.

Tribore steps up and says, "Speak for yourself, hot mama. Come on, Quatro. We're leaving." "Yep. You're leaving.", Ash says in a bored tone.

"I'm afraid I must. My species has an ancient cherished ritual called paternity leave.", Tribore says. "Uh, Tribore, everyone has-", I try to explain, but Tribore cut me off.

"I must spread my wings like a majestic falcon and leave. So bye.", Tribore said, before turning away from us. Quatro brought out his weapon and sliced the chunk we were on in half.

"Will we ever see you again?", Fox calls to Tribore. "Close your eyes. Now look at me. But keep them closed. But look at me. I'm with you. But I'm gone. I'm here. But I'm gone. I left. But I stayed. But I'm gone.", Tribore says dramatically.

We just watch him and Quatro float far away.

~Intro~

Anaya is hurled uncontrollably down a colorful tunnel.

She desperately tries to balance herself as she continues to flail about.

Seeing the end of the tunnel fills her with sudden determination.

She activates her powers and flies towards the light at unmatched speeds.

Flying into it reveals the name of the story.

Hours later we were all spread out on the space chunk, except for Avocato, Little Cato, and I.

"Mom, Dad, how do we find the others when we don't even know where we are?", Little Cato asks Avocato, obviously worried. "Hey, I know where you and your Mom are. For now, that's enough.", Avocato says, kneeling and resting his forehead on Little Cato's and grabbing my hand.

I kneel next to them and hug them. "We will find them, son. Never loose hope. Without hope, there is nothing.", I said.

The space chunk started to tremble and was surrounded by a red energy. We stand up and look around.

"Hold on.", Sheryl ordered us. "No one panic. We're getting through this. Ahh!", Fox exclaimed, as he suddenly disappeared.

"Fox!", I call out in worry. "Fox? Fox? Where are you? Fox?", Ash calls out, flying around the chunk, trying to find Fox.

"No, Ash, stay close. We don't know what we're up-", Sheryl starts, only to be cut off by her disappearing, too. "Sheryl!", Ash calls out, before disappearing, too.
