MASUYONG INILAPAG ko sa kama si Grandma dito sa kwarto nya. Kararating lang namin ng bahay at kinaylangan ko pa syang buhatin dahil nanghihina pa sya. Though may ilan pang mga pantal sa katawan nya.

"Take a rest Grandma."

"Pero Red apo, nayayamot na ako eh puros nalang pahinga, nasaan ba kasi si Merabella bakit Hindi mo sinasabi sakin." May bahid ng lungkot sa boses nito.

My Grandma is really close to Merabella. Si Merabella lang ang nakasundo ni Lola. Masyado kasing mailap si Lola sa mga tao at masungit naman kapag Hindi nito kilala.

And I'm very thankful to my grandmother, I met Merabella because of her.

"Rest well Grandma." Sa halip na sagutin ko ang tanong nya ay inayos ko na lamang ang kumot nito. "I'll go ahead."

"Red Anak what happened to your hand—"

"Not now Mom."I kissed her forehead before I stepped out from the room.

I took a deep loud breath before I walked into the staircase. But I stopped when my phone beep.

A message from a closed friend.

From @SilverFontana: Seriously, Man, You're asking me where she is? She's inside the JV man, so why asking me if she was just a meters away from your place?

Kumunot ang noo ko. A  meters away? What is he talking about?

I dont understand so I called him. Sinagot naman nito kaagad pagkatapos ng ilang ring. "What you were sayin' Silver?"

(Man seriously? I tracked her phone and I saw that she's just in the JV.)

He sighed. "Will you please stop fooling me Around, Silver. I really need an info on where she is." 

Pinagpatuloy ko nalang ang paglalakad habang kausap ko parin ito sa phone.

(I'm serious here, Red.) May pagkainis sa boses nito.

He tsked. " Tell me the exact address then."

(Actually she's in your neighbor's house.)

"What?"

(In Crayn's house, Man.)

Umarko ang kilay ko. "Are you sure? That house you're saying is empty. No one lived there for a month now."

Nagmamadaling lumabas ako ng bahay at inilibot ang tingin ko.  "Can you track her again Sil. I didn't see any reason for her to go in the Crayn's house—" I stilled.

I heard Silver uttered from the other line but my attention was not there.

What a small world.

I was rooted in the place where I stand. I can't move. I was shocked of what I'm seeing and  my heart stop beating of what they're doing. Fuck! My jaw tightened as I clenched my fist.
