Megan's POV

Terror courses through my body as I realize the man standing before me is not Barry. I'm paralyzed with fear, to afraid to try to run. What's the point of running anyways? He's a million times faster than me.

The Reverse Flash looks at me with a blurred face.

My breathing quickens and my heart rate accelerates as I wait for the meta human to speak. All he did was stare at me menacingly.

"What do you want from me?" I finally blurt out, not being able to stand his gaze on me.

"The next time you look for me you're dead," the man in yellow warns me in a disguised voice.

"You killed his mother!" I shout angrily. "Why? Who the hell are you?"

"Both of you know who I am." The menace takes a step closer, causing me to back up until I'm at the edge of the rooftop.

Not being able to contain my anger any longer, I lunge at him. He used his speed to get out of the way, leaving me to collide with the ground beneath our feet. See how stupid I am? How on earth did I forget about his speed?

I begin to get up, but the man speed-punches me to keep me at bay. I fall to the ground and prepare for his next move. I failed to block his kick to my stomach.

The gravel digs into my knees and the palms of my hands. A small trickle of blood runs down my chin from the corner of my lip.

Reverse Flash grabs the back of my shirt and pulls me up, hanging me over the edge of the building.

"No!" I scream as loud as I can as I struggle to get back to the roof. "Flash!" I shriek, but he's probably still at the precinct with Joe. No one can help me now. The man's going to drop me no matter what I try to do. I'm at a dead end.

I stop moving and just feel the gentle breeze lightly brush against my skin. Instead of doing anything, I smirk at Reverse Flash. I know it's weird that I'm smiling despite the situation I'm in, but I need to see if what I'm about to say is going to have any affect on him.

"Why did you kill Barry's mom, Dr. Wells?" It was a simple question, testing the man in yellow for any reaction.

The man doesn't seem to be affected by my unexpected question, but I could've sworn I felt the hand holding me up slightly tighten it's grip. It only lasted for a split second, however, because he then released his grip, letting me plummet to the sidewalk.

Although I was plummeting to my death, only one emotion was in play.

Anger.

Not for him letting go of me, I mean him killing Barry's mom. Having us trust him.

The murderer, the 'Reverse Flash,' is Dr. Wells. There's not a single doubt about that in my mind anymore.

Two seconds before I become a human pancake, I bust a fire hydrant and cause the geyser to move beneath me like a cushion. It seemed like a smart idea at the time, but not when I do a belly flop on the water with a slap. Note to self: don't ever do a belly flop after falling from a five story building.

I swear that was the worst pain in my life.

The only reason I did it was because I thought with my powers and all, the water wouldn't hurt me. I should've known better. The front part of my body felt like I fell on pins and needles. My head was turned to the side, so only half my face was stinging. To be honest, I think the left side of my face was going numb.

After a few seconds of laying half paralyzed on the sidewalk, something picks me up and the next thing I know is that I'm in Barry's arms.

"Barry?" My eyes widen at the man hovering over me with a concerned face.
