I sneak into Jitters in my suit and find Iris cleaning up. She's been posting too much information on me and Barry. I mean seriously, telling people she took that picture of us on her phone? What was she thinking?!

"I said I was done talking to you!" She says angrily and turns around. Her hard eyes soften. "Sorry, I thought you were The Flash."

Okay, so I guess Barry's plan to get Iris to stop writing her blog failed? "I don't think you should be writing about us." I really wish I could disguise my voice like Barry.

Iris scoffs with a disbelieving smile. "You're just like him."

"I'm sure Flash warned you how dangerous it is to be posting that kind of stuff. So I'm going to remind you of what he said. You're going to be thought of as someone who knows our identities. It's going to get you killed." I keep the anger in my voice contained and hidden.

"No one will try to kill me." She spreads a thin smile on her face.

I laugh. "So I'm guessing you forgot about the incident with Tony?" I mentally slap myself as soon as I ask the question. Crap.

Iris takes a small step toward me, her grin fading. "How do you know about that?" I stay silent. "Who the hell are you?" She continues to interrogate me.

"I'm Riptide, obviously," I answer her with a cocky retort.

"You're just like Flash. Dodging questions," she takes a few more steps toward me and takes in my appearance. I stand my ground. "Tell me, Riptide, do you know who he is?"

"I came here to warn you of the consequences of writing your blog. Not to play 'interview' with you. There's no telling how many people actually want to kill me. I have more enemies than you think."

"Drop the act Megan," she wears a smug smile on her face. "I know it's you."

Damn it, Iris West.

"Why would you think I'm this 'Megan' person?"

"Please, I can see where your engagement ring is. Your hair is the same length, and I caught a glimpse of your white eye. You're obviously having a hard time focusing on your one-eye vision. You also talk in the same loud tone and have the same, stupid, smartass answers."

Oh, she did NOT just say that. I take a step forward and say through clenched teeth, "Watch it, West. I can easily drow-"

Before I finish my threat something takes me outside, to the roof of Jitters. "You need to calm down." Barry says and I find he's in his suit. I could see the dim light reflect off of the frosty air that he exhales.

"She had some nerve to insult me."

"And you have some nerve to threaten your own friend," Barry's tone of voice was on edge. Almost as bitter and cold as the evening air.

"What kind of friend insults the other?" I raise my voice. "I've had friends like that in Starling! They did the same, damn thing! I'm not making the same mistake again and stay with a friend that does that," I lower my voice to a whisper. "They're the reasons I have trust issues."

"Tell me what happened with Iris."

"She figured out my identity and was trying to get information out of me. She called me loud and pretty much said I had stupid comments." I mumble.

Barry's eyes widen to the size of golf balls. "She figured out about you?!" He bolts back inside Jitters with me in his arms. Then he sets me down so I could stand.

Iris was on her laptop, rapidly typing something. From my spot a few paces away from her, I could tell it was her blog.

Without thinking I walk up to Iris and slam the computer screen shut. She was lucky she moved her hands in time before they could be crushed by how much force I used.
