*Tanjiro's POV*

I looked at the old man with a suprised face

' I didn't hear his footsteps'

So I asked him" How can I finish him off ? " with Y/n looking at me sweetly

"Don't reply on someone else !, Can you use your own head ? "

Then I looked at him before looking at the floor thinking how finsh the demon off,

'If stabbind doesn't work', and stared at the rocks on the floor near a tree beside me

'Crushing his head is my last resort' so I went over the rock pickep up one, walked toward the demon while the old man stred at me and Y/n beside me.

' To break his skull ans smash his head up, I'll have to strike him multiple times. It'll be a painful death'

' Isn't there anything else I can use to kill him in a one blow ?' I think looking at the demon unconcious.

*Urokodaki's POV*

While I was looking at the boy who stared with worry in his eyes, I sensed a warm aura,

' This kid isn't going to cut it '

' His sympathy is keeping him from making a clear decision.'

' His facing a demon, yet the scent of kindness remains, His empathy extends even to a demon '

Then I remembered the letter I've received from Giyuu

' Giyuu, This kid won't make it'

*Tanjiro's POV*

Then the demon started waking up from unconciousness, I saw his eyes open and looked everywhere, then his eyes saw me. Then start sreaming at me to come to him for him to devour me. The sun start rising, then he stopped talking and tried protect from the sunlight but he soon turned into ashes. I looked at him with wide eyes

'He's gone with such sunlight ?!'

' No wonder Y/n shrinks away from it ! '

Then I realized something,

" Y/n ?"

" Y/n ?"

I started running to the house for Y/n, when I came inside, I saw her in the basket with the blanket  covering her looking outside worried that the sunlight touch her, I sigh in relief that she's fine, 

"Y/n"

I hugged her and kissed her neck ( Not in the dirty way, you naughty readers)" I love you " I whisper to her, then I remember the old man outside, I run again to see him burying the bodies and prayed for them.

I walked quietly and slowly toward him, "Uhmmm...... Excuse me ?"

" My name is Urokodaki  Sakonji" He spoke " I supposed you're the one Tomioka Giyuu sent my way "

Then I introduced myself" Yes ! My name is Tanjiro Kamado and my lover's name is Y/n L/n and...."

But he cut my sentence "Tanjiro...What will you do if your lover devours a human ? "

When He ask me this question, my eyes widened and I start thinking as I didn't noticed he was walking to me

Then he slapped me , I grabbed my cheek burned
