ATENTAMENTE : A 10K SPECIAL

Start from the beginning

But alas, he was still of flesh and blood, and died just the same as all who were. Nature is ruthless, fate is ruthless and existence is very fragile, temporary, and precious, yet always taken for granted.

Seulgi let her feet tread lightly over the soils that supported new spring growth, white-bells and green wands of grass, until she was there again. Then she bent into a squat, eyes resting on his name, heart hearing the sound of his voice as if he were right there with her.

"Hello," she ran a hand over his name engraving, a small smile on her face. "It has a long time, hasn't it?"

It hasn't, actually. The last time she visited him was probably a week ago, but still.

"Park Seonghwa told me something really big brain today," she continued conversationally, blowing at the fine dust layer that had formed above his grave stone. "You'd be really proud of him." She stopped. "I mean, whether or not he said that, you'd still be proud of him, but you'd be even prouder now that he said that." The dark haired girl produced a bottle of cheap white wine from her bag. "Cheers to you, you trusted the right guy." She popped the cork and poured a fair amount across his grave then took a gulp straight from the bottle herself.

She made a face at the taste. She'd managed to kick from her alcohol addiction about a year ago- no thanks to San and Daniel-, so this was the first time she was actually tasting alcohol after such a long ass time. It was as bad as it always was, but no one ever drank cheap alcohol for it's taste, for fuck's sake.

Seulgi exhaled out a slow, long breath, watching it wafer through the air. "But that isn't why I came today," she said quietly, as if scared that someone else was going to overhear and tell the whole world. "I came to say thank you." Her eyes scanned the cold marble grave stone in front of her as if she hadn't already had every engraving, every flaw, every crack carved in her mind. "And good bye."

Her smile was mournful, shaky almost as she fell into a kowtow. The soft dark soil kissed her knees like a lover's smooch and the grass tickled her skin. Her head touched cold marble as she bent and kissed the grave. "Thank you for the memories and good bye, Park Chanyeol."

In another life
I would be your girl
We'd keep all our promises
Be us against the world

Back when his good friend Jeno was still alive, Renjun would often head over to the Lee boy's house to play with his cats.

There was this one game he loved playing with them the most: Catch the Lazer. When Jeno's innocent cats sees that little wiggly ball of light from a laser pointer, nothing matters to those poor things more than catching it, and Renjun just enjoyed toying the living wits out of those poor things until they got so tired they completely gave up and slumps on the floor.
