Lisa blinked rapidly after what Jennie told her. She's still quite confused but somehow she's not surprised that Jennie wanted to cancel the bet. She's never seen her best friend so invested in someone and she's happy that someone finally made it into her best friend's heart – although the girl may not admit it yet. Maybe now is the time Jennie could finally admit her true feelings for the other girl, and Lisa is eager to know what Jennie has to say as she's never seen her best friend in this state before. She's known Jennie since they were kids. Sure, Jennie dated a few people here and there, flirted with a lot of girls and boys alike, but Jennie never actually felt anything real towards any of them, and Lisa knows that there is this void in Jennie's heart that makes the girl feel empty at times.

"Wait, you want to what now?!" Lisa asked a little bit loud catching the attention of some of the people inside the restaurant. Jennie shoots the couple beside their table an apologetic look.

"I said, I want to cancel the bet"

"I heard you the first time unnie. But, why?"

Jennie shrugged. She didn't know how to explain to Lisa what she couldn't explain to herself. She doesn't know what to call what she's been feeling towards Jisoo yet. But if there is one thing Jennie is certain, it's that she's never felt this way towards anyone before – not even close.

"I just don't feel like doing it anymore" Jennie took a bite of her food as she lied

Lisa knew her best friend was lying, she wanted her to say the words, Lisa knew Jennie only need some kind of push.

"So..... If you don't feel like doing the bet anymore, does that meet you'll also stop seeing....Jisoo unnie?" Lisa trailed with her words trying to fish for some answers

Jennie bit her lip. Of course that's far from what she wanted to do. It's the total opposite actually. She wants to see Jisoo every day, talk to her every day, see her smile every day, see her laugh every day.

"I don't think it's necessary for me to stop seeing her. I mean we're friends now so it's only normal and right if we still keep in touch"

Lisa sighed in frustration. She doesn't know what will it take to make Jennie admit that she likes Jisoo more than just a friend.

"Okay then, you'll be my slave for a month" Lisa smirked

"Yah! Why would I be? No one won the bet!" Jennie retaliated abruptly

"But you're the one who wants to cancel it! It's as if you're surrendering"

"I am not Lisa! You know I can do it if I really want to"

"But do you want to?"

"No... I-I.. —yah! Would you just let this go?"

"You need a valid reason. Just say it unnie, and I'll let this one go" Lisa said pointing a finger at Jennie.

"What do you want me to say, Lisa?"

Lisa shook her head, as much as she wants to tell Jennie that it's so pretty damn obvious that Jennie is so whipped for Jisoo, she kept her mouth shut. She wanted Jennie to realize it herself.

Lisa sighed in defeat "Alright, I'm pretty sure you have your reasons but I just hope you don't realize things a little too late"

Lisa's words dwelt inside Jennie's head. She was lost in thought when her phone suddenly beeps and lights up. A message from Jisoo. She couldn't help but form a smile
