A few days have passed and we've heard nothing from the hospital.
I lay my head on my pillow, which was soaked with tears and see karl come in.
"Hey nick, you okay?"
"Mhm.."
"Is it alright if I lay down with you?"
"Yeah"
He lays down beside me and kisses my head.
"Let's just hope for the best okay?" He says.

"Mhm."
"I love you" he says.
"Love you too"
"I'm always here if you wanna talk about it okay?"
"Okay-" I say as my phone rings.
I see that it's from George and almost immediately answer.
"HES OKAY" He says crying.
"WHO?!"
"DREAM! HES OKAY!"
I sigh in relief.
"Do you know when we can visit him?" I ask.
"tomorrow"
"Alright well I'll talk to you later" I say hanging up.

"Who was it?" Karl asks.
"George."
"Any news about Dream?"
"He's okay"
"Good!"
"I'm gonna go do something I'll get quackity to come in here"
"Thanks Karl"
He leaves the room and I hear him tell quackity to come in.
"Hey nick?" He asks.
"Yeah?"
"Can I come in?"
"Mhmmm" I mumble.
I get up and sit on the edge of my bed.

"Hey I'm really sorry about Dream. But Karl said he's doing better and he's awake"
"Yeah."
"Is it alright if I sit down with you?"
"Mhm"
He sits down beside me and rubs my back.
"Hey I know I'm not the best at comforting people but I love you" he says.

"Mhm. Love you too"
"I'm always here if you wanna talk"
"I know"
He brings me closer to him, to the point where my head is resting on his shoulder.
"I don't know why he did it.." I say.
I then break down in tears.
"Hey..it's okay don't worry" he says hugging me.
I cry into his chest, gripping his shirt.
"Shh it's okay" he says rubbing my back and hugging me tighter.

"W-Why did he even try it.." I cry.
"I'm not sure but he's okay! He's alive, if didnt work"
Then I get a call from the hospital.
"Here I'll answer it" quackity says grabbing my phone.
"Hello?"
"Yeah he's right here"
"Sapnap they said Dream wants to talk to you."

I grab the phone, shaking.
"H-Hello?" I Stutter.
"Hey.."
"Dream? Is that you?"
"Y-Yeah.."
"Are you okay?"
"Just a bit dizzy.."
"P-Please never do that again..I can't lose you.."
"I'm sorry" he says.
"I gotta go I'm sorry but we can see you tomorrow" I say shaking.
"Alright..bye"

I hang up and cry into quackitys chest.
"It's okay Sapnap don't worry please.." he says rubbing my back some more.
"I miss him.."
"I know baby I do too"
"Me and Karl are trying our best to help you okay? We love you so so much" quackity says.

"I'm sorry.." I apologize.
"Don't be sorry. It isn't your fault okay?"
"I know but I'm sorry for having you Try and comfort me.."
"come on let's lay down" he says smiling.
"Alright" I say letting him grab my waist and pull me down so we're laying.
"Baby I know what your going through" he says.
"I don't know if I Can do this anymore.."
"No wait please you can keep doing this I promise! He's okay he's alive."

I turn to put my face in his chest and cry.
"Shhh I'm here it's okay" he says kissing my head.
I continue to cry as he tries to comfort me.
"Hey I'll stay here for tonight okay? I'll stay with you"
"O-okay.." I mumble.
"I'm here okay? I promise things will get better"
"I just wish this would end.."

~quackitys POV~

I pull sapnap up and sit up myself.
"Come here baby" I say pulling him onto my lap.
"It's gonna be okay"
"Maybe let's take a shower to comfort you?" I request.
"Okay"
I pull him out of bed and get him to the bathroom to shower.
"Do you want me to come in with you?" I ask.
"Sure"
"Alright" I say taking my shirt off.
We both get undressed and hop in the shower.

"It's gonna get better i promise" I say.
I turn him around to wash his arms off and then I see it.
He's been cutting?
"Nick?"
"I-Uhm, yea?"
"Have you been cutting?"
"Uhm.." he says trying to hold back tears.
"Hey let's get out and lay down alright?"
"O-Okay.."
we get out the shower and get some clothes on.
When we lay down he starts to cry.

"Shhh it's okay" I say feeling him cry into my chest.
I rub his back, not knowing how to comfort him.
"Baby I love you" I say pulling him closer to me.
"But have you been cutting?"
"Y-Yeah.."
"Please don't baby you know your worth so much"

"It's been so hard...seeing him like that.."
"I know but it will get better I promise"
He doesn't give a response, just crying.
"Hey baby I'm here now I'm with you" I say holding his head to my chest.
"I don't know what to say...thank you.." he says. 
"Of course nick. I love you so so much"
"Love you too"
"Hey let's go to sleep okay?"
"Okay.."
"Goodnight baby"
