Sunset Curve have always dreamed of performing at the Orpheum but it's a hard place to get into. They have been practicing a song called Now or Never every day non-stop.
Guess what... They finally got in thanks to my girl Rose. She got a job there and was listening to their music when she could. The owner heard it and loved it. So the boys are playing in 2 days. The band and I go shopping so we can get outfits for the show.
The day has finally come. We are performing today. We go in 2 hours early to do a sound check and everything. We do a practice and Rose watches us.

(1, 2, 3)
Take off
Last stop
Countdown till we blast open the top
Face first
Full charge
Electric hammer to the heart
Clocks move forward
But we don't get older, no
Kept on climbing
Till our stars collided
And all the times we fell behind
Were just the keys to paradise
Don't look down
'Cause we're still rising
Up right now
And even if we
Hit the ground
We'll still fly
Keep dreaming like we'll live forever
But live it like it's now or never
Hear the noise
In my head
It's calling out like a voice I can't forget
One life
No regrets
Catch up, got no time to catch my breath
Clocks move faster
'Cause it's all we're after now
Won't stop climbing
'Cause this is our time, yeah
When all the days felt black and white
Those were the best shades of my life
Don't look down
'Cause we're still rising
Up right now
And even if we
Hit the ground
We'll still fly
Keep dreaming like we'll live forever
But live it like it's now or never
We ain't searching for tomorrow (tomorrow)
'Cause we got all we need today (today)
Living on a feeling that's been running through our veins
We're the revolution that's been singing in the rain
Don't look down
'Cause we're still rising
Up right now
And even if we
Hit the ground
We'll still fly
Keep dreaming like we'll live forever
But live it like it's now or never
It's now or never (now or never)

We finished and Rose applauded us.
Luke suggests getting street dogs. We go for street dogs but too bad Bobby is a vegetarian so he stayed back. I don't eat hotdogs but I join them anyway.
We walk to the street dog van.
Alex - Man. I can't wait until we eat someplace where the condiments aren't served out of the back of an Oldsmobile.
We all laugh.
Alex - Hey. Sorry, I got some pickle juice on your battery cables.
Man - No problem. It'll help with the rust.
The man chuckles.
Alex - That can't... Ok. What?.
We all sit on the couch.
Luke - This is awesome, you guys... We're playing The Orpheum! I can't even count how many bands have played here and then ended up being huge.
Reggie and I chuckle.
Luke - We're gonna be legends! Eat up, boys. Cause after tonight, everything changes.
The tink their hotdogs and take a bite
Alex - That's a new flavor.
Reggie - Chill, man. Street dogs haven't killed us yet.
Oh how I wish he didn't say that... Luke looked out of breath after one bite. Alex looked disgusted and Reggie was loving life.
Laura - Guys, stop eating those, they are clearly going to kill you.
They start feeling very sick. Like it looked like bad food poisoning. I called an ambulance and they got here really quick.
Paramedic - What happened?
Laura - They were eating these hotdogs. I think they were out of date. Like really out of date.
Paramedic - Ma'am. Don't worry we will help your friends.
Laura - One of them is my boyfriend so I'd like him to be healthy again.
They tell me to go home and they will call when there is an update. I go to The Orpheum and tell Bobby everything.
Bobby - The show must go on. I'll perform it.
Laura - DID YOU NOT GET THE FACT THAT YOUR FRIENDS ARE DYING.
Manager - You have to perform, there is a whole line waiting to come in.
Bobby - I'll sing and you go home and wait for the call.
I roll my eyes and run to Luke's house.
