I sat at my desk which is conveniently next to Luke every other seat was taken. Professor Louis starts talking and teaching and all that boring stuff that you do in class, then he wants us to do practical work. He pairs me with Luke, the audacity of this man. But I guess in a way it's good because then I can tell him how I feel, but it might be awkward if he doesn't feel the same way. Well, wish me luck.

Laura - Hey Luke

Laura - What, we aren't together... I mean...

Luke - I, Um, I think we are, Professor Louis paired us.

Laura - Sorry. I watched Pocahontas late last night.

Luke - That's such a good movie. I get it.

We start the experiment we need to do.

Luke - So, have you been practicing your new song?

Laura - Yeah, it's Kiss from a rose by Seal.

Luke - I can't wait to see it.

Laura - Really?

Luke - Yeah... I know Bobby doesn't like when you come and dance, but I like your dancing. You're definitely going to be our dancer if we become famous. Or even a famous dancer... just you... you know?

Laura - Yeah... you're too sweet.

He mumbles, but I heard it.

Luke - And your good... Really good at dancing.

Laura - Aw thanks. You're amazing at singing. Oh, and playing the guitar.

The bell goes for lunch.

Luke - Join us for lunch. Invite Rose too.

Laura - Sure, let me go find her.

Luke - Ok. Same spot we are always in

Laura - Ok, be there soon

He goes to the spot with the boys. I find Rose

Rose - Hey Girl.

Laura - Hey babes

Rose - Spill...

Laura - I didn't ask but I will tonight

Rose - Girl please.

Laura - What, in an experiment I just say "Hey Luke, I like... Love you. I hope you feel the same. I know Bobby doesn't want me with his friends but hey rules are made to be broken"

Rose - Um....

Laura - Is he behind me?

She nods while placing her hand over her mouth. I close my eyes, look down then spin around to see him

Luke - You... like me?

Laura - Yeah...

Luke - I like you too.

Laura - Wait, Actually?

Luke - Yeah, from the day I saw you.

Laura - Oh My... Are you serious?

Luke nods and I hug him, he hugs me back.

Rose - You two have lunch together. Talk. I'm going to occupy Bobby. If he asks about you, I'm going to say you needed to ask a teacher something.

Laura - You're the best Rose.

I hug her and I go off to have lunch with Luke.

Laura - I've never been on this side of the school.

Luke - It's nice on this side.

Laura - Yeah it is.

Luke - I have something I want to tell you.

Laura - Me too

Luke - You go first.

Laura - No you

Luke - Ok... I like you

Laura - What do you mean like?

Luke - Like. Well. Ever since the day I first met you I thought you were the nicest, coolest, sweetest, amazing person and that formed a crush.

Laura - ....

Luke - Please say something...

Laura - I was going to say the same thing

Luke - Really?!

Laura - Yes

Luke - What about Bobby?

Laura - Who cares...

Luke - He cares

Laura - He really shouldn't. If it's love at first sight then it's love at first sight.

Luke - That is true.

Laura - See. What's the worst he can do...

Luke - Let's not find out.

Laura - We will have to tell him sometime...

Luke - We will... After a few dates on the down low.

Laura - Ok, we can do what makes you comfortable.

Luke - See, you are sweet.

Laura - Nah...

Luke - Yes.

Laura - Ok, fine.

We finish lunch. We go to our final classes and finish the day.
