Nailea Devora is a teenager that faces the hardships of teen relationships. Her first love was a hard one but like they say after the storm the flowers gloom, when she meets Vinnie Hacker.
To get our attention, Thomas clapped his hands and said, "the list of groups is outside, and once you gather your group, come to Bryant so you guys can get your maps and activities and turn in your phones. The winning group to motivate you guys gets $10,000," which had us all excited. "Thank Goodness because I was about to say what we are in elementary," Larray shouted, making everyone laugh. We all headed outside, and I was in a group with Alex, Michael, Charli, and Vinnie. His girlfriend ended up with Larray and Avani.
The first activity was an escape haunted house. "Alright so there are riddles and stuff we need to solve to get out all together," Charli stated, "so stay together and work together," she added as we searched for the first clue. "Oh guys look it's a puzzle, the key to get out is a puzzle," I point out, getting everyone to crowd around me as I read the message. "All right, it says there are five missing pieces we need to locate in order to get out, the first of which is a riddle," I read. " The first is simple. On a Saturday morning, a man is discovered dead. He was murdered while his wife slept. The wife informs the cops what she knows. She tells them that the chef was preparing breakfast, the maid was cleaning, and the butler was delivering the mail. The person responsible is immediately arrested by the police. "Who is to blame, and why?" I read for everyone to guess.
"Wasn't she supposed to be sleeping? Vinnie says, "yes, therefore she could be the murderer," I reply, "or she might be a light sleeper." Alex makes blog jokes. We all rush to the pillow prop to locate the puzzle piece. The haunted house was kinda disturbing, but it was towards the end where I got beyond terrified with the creepy killer clowns, and when one grabbed my arm, my instinct was to panic and stand still while everyone else was running into the last door, and I suppose Vinnie either felt sorry or just wanted to get out because he ran back and carried me into the next room with him.
When we exit, we all give each other a group hug and proceed to the next location. "It's a maze, oh great Thomas," Alex exclaims, "and it's really dark, and we only have one flashlight except the vlogging ring light," Charli remarks, "so let's get paired up so it's easier to see." "Yes, Charlie, I'll go with Alex," Michael looks at me and pulls me next to Vinnie, saying, "You two use the flashlight," and we begin to walk. "Okay, I think Vinnie and I will walk in front of you guys then," I suggest, looking around and holding his arm for any jump scares, which he doesn't seem to mind. The first jump scare wasn't really on purpose; it was a goddamn rabbit that passed us by. "Looks like there's more than one bunny out tonight," I joke, but the chuckles around me are low because we tried to keep it lowkey. When there was a segment full of creepy dolls, Michael gave Charlie a piggyback lift, and Vinnie copied him. Finally, in the maze's final jump scare, a creepy man chased us, and all I know is running like my life depended on it.
We did a couple more activities, but my friends continued to set me up with Vin as though we were in middle school. When we all got together again, Larray told me that Vinnie had been seeing this girl for a while and that they were now together. "She was kinda obnoxious and didn't even fucking help us, just stood there to look cute, babe Thomas shouldve hired her as a decoration," Larray says, laughing. "You're a bitch for that," I chuckle, "and then she didn't like that you were set up with him, so she started bitching, so we all just ignored her." Avani added, "Well, she has nothing to worry about," I say from across the room, Vinnie staring back at me. "See," I say, and we all laugh.
