My eyes flutter open, I see a random face staring back at me.
I jump back I'm fear until I can focus on who it is.
"Rowan!" I yell and hug her
"Hey Sabby"
I start tearing up "I missed you a lot Row"
She smiles and wipes her eyes "I missed you are too"
"You look good" I laugh
"Thanks" She flings her arms and legs around "I finally grew into these limbs"
We laugh.
'You look good too, you grew up good girl"
"Haha thanks"
We sit in my room and talk for hours, catching up on everything.
"I almost forgot!" She says loudly "there's a guy!"
"There's a guy?!"
"There's a guy!!" She squeals "I'm gonna meet him soon"
"Wait you haven't met him yet? And he lives here?"
She nods in excitement "he's the best Sab, an all around wonderful guy"
"I'm glad you found someone Row"
"How about you, is there a guy?" She wiggles her eyebrows
I blush "there's this one guy"
"Ooh tell me"
I the her everything, I don't tell her exactly what Bradley said when he was "practicing" but something close. Then I tell her what my aunt Stef said about it.
"She's completely right! Tell this guy how you feel"
"Okay" I smile
"What's this guy's name"
"Br-" Kenneth walks in the room and interrupts me
"Kenneth" I say
"Sabrina...I need to talk to you"
"Excuse me Rowan"
I wall out the door "what"
"Look, I know you hate me--"
I stop him "I don't hate you"
"You don't?"
"Of course not " I laugh
"Good...but I've been thinking and I need to know something"
"Yeah"
"Sabrina, did you feel anything for me?" He asks "before I did what I did"
"I did Kenney, I was starting to feel something"
He smiles "will you...will you be-"
I know where this is going... I have to stop him "I'm sorry Kenney, I don't feel that way anymore"
He drips his head "oh"
"I'm sorry Kenney" I say then kiss his cheek "let's just be friends"
He nods and leaves.
"Hey" I smile walking back into the room "sorry. Lets finish talking"
"Sabrina...go get your guy"
I look at her confused
"I'm gonna go home and I want you to go get your guy"
•Bradley's POV•
Sabrina just texted me.
Sab- are you busy?
Me-,nah
Sab- good, hey can you meet me at the mall? I want to talk
Me- sure, when?
Sab- ASAP
Me- otw
I get in my car and go straight to the mall.
I sit near the entrance and wait. About 5 minutes later she walks in.
"Hey Sab, over here" I call out
"Hey Bradley um, I just need to say one thing... I--"
He interrupts me "Rowan?"
"Rowan?" I turn around
"Bradley" Rowan says staring at him
•Sabrina's POV•
"Wait, you two know each other" I ask
Bradley walks towards Rowan, smiling. "I didn't think I'd see you this soon"
"Well here I am" she hugs him
I'm so confused so I ask again "you two know each other"
Rowan looks at me "this is the guy I was telling you about"
Just then my heart sinks.
"How do you two know each other" Rowan asks
"She's my best friend" Bradley answers
"Well Sabrina and I use to be best friends then I moved and we lost touch"
I don't know what to say, Bradley really did like another girl...and it's Rowan.
"So Sabrina you wanted to talk" Bradley says
"Um, I just wanted to know if you ever ended up telling that girl what you were gonna say...but I see that you did"
"Wellv... I'm gonna go try to find someone" I lie "see y'all later" I wave
"Good luck" Rowan yells back
As I turn and walk away I let the tear gates burst.
On the way out I see Kenneth again. I try to ignore him but he sees me.
"Woah Sab, whats wrong"
"N-nothing" I say and sit down
He sits next to me"Sabrina, you can tell me" he puts his hand on my shoulder
"Why do you even want to talk to me...I hurt you" I cry
"I don't care about that...you're my friend and as long as I'm existing, I'll be here for you ...no matter what"
I hug him and cry into his shoulder as he rubs my back.
"Now do you want to tell me"
I nod and tell him everything. About what my aunt said and what Rowan said. Then what ended up happening.
"I'm sorry to hear that Sabrina... I just know how you feel. If you ever need a friend, I'm here "
"Thanks ...it just hurts. I just wanted to mean something to someone, you know?" I wipe my tears away
"You mean something to me Sabrina, you mean a lot to me" he wraps his arm around me and squeezes me tight "remember that"
I pull away and look at him. I don't know why, but I start to lean in and so does he.
Our lips touch and I quickly pull away "I'm sorry. I - I need to go"
I get up and run to my car. Did we just kiss?
