I couldn't stop thinking about Lilith, terrified about what happened to her. Why had she run off? Did she run because she was scared of someone asking questions? I knew that Carlisle was in his office so decided to go ask him for help, "Carlisle I am worried about Lilith,"
"I know Jasper if you want to help her you will have to be careful when asking her any questions about what happened"
"But I want to help she is my mate, there must be something anything, I will do anything Carlisle please"
"You could invite her over tomorrow"
"I take it Alice already knows" I scoffed after hearing Alice squeal in exightment
"Jasper if you do decide to ask any questions just don't press too hard, you might scare her away" I nodded and left the room
The next day at school, I went straight to history almost running to class wanting to make sure that Lilith was alright, as usual, she was the first one there, she treated me with a friendly smile as I took my seat next to her, "Lilith I was wondering if you would like to come over to my place after school today"
"I... I am sorry I can't" I could tell that it was her fear controlling her decision so I decided to have a slight influence on her decision
"Lilith it would be an honour if you came home with me and met the rest of my family properly" her eyes never left me, that was when I desided, I didn't want her to ever leave my sight, I could smell the blood on her, she looked pale and exhausted
She let out a small sigh "sure I would like that"
