Jimin heard a loud banging sound. It made him jolt up, body going ramrod straight. It sounded like another person was in his house, but he was technically the only person to know about the island.
He grabbed the crow bar off the ground, he had been using it to help him pull up the floorboards. But it was a hefty weight in his hand, useful if he should need to defend himself.
He crept as quietly as he could from the kitchen into the hallway. But what he was expecting to see wasn't really what he actually found.
"Yoongi?" Jimin asked a layer of confusion and concern within his voice.
He dropped the crowbar on the floor. Rushing around to the unconscious merman's side. He pressed hands to burning skin. Immediately that had him standing up, running to the kitchen and soaking some towels in water. With the water dripping from the towel leaving a trail of water drops behind Jimin.
Jimin turned Yoongi over so that he was lying on his back, rather than with his face pressed to the wooden floor. Then he began to layer the wet towels over Yoongi's body. Hoping to cool him down.
What shocked him the most was seeing Yoongi with legs, so used to associating Yoongi with his powerful black galaxy colour tail. He fetched a glass of water, coming back to the merman's side.
He began to pour the cold water over the merman's face. Hoping the cold water would stimulate his body enough to allow him to wake up. He saw Yoongi's eyelids begin to flutter so he grabbed the second glass of water and continued the actions he had done with the first.
Eventually Yoongi's doubled lidded eyes opened. His first eyelid opening then the second glassy later moved sideways.
"Hi" Jimin said.
The sound had Yoongi looking around, he spotted Jimin hovering over him.
Yoongi made a delighted sound, face lighting up. He felt heavy weights on top of him. He went to removed them. Jimin grabbed his hands before he could.
"No" Jimin said. Shaking his head to get across his point.
"No?" Yoongi mimicked in the language of the mermen.
"Wet, keepingyou cool. Your body was hot" Jimin turned around so that he was opposite Yoongi instead of upside down in Yoongi's vision.
