Connie was going back to school today and couldn't help but feel a sense of worry coursing through her veins. Luke was laying down on her bed and writing the song that was clouding his mind for days on end now. Connie couldn't think of what to do with her hair so she was trying different hair styles and was also doing her makeup at the same time.She could see Luke in the mirror and saw how concentrated he looked and was kinda sad that she would have to pull him out of it soon. She decided that she was going to tie her hair up in a high ponytail. As she was tying her hair up Luke thought it was the perfect chance to poof next to her and try to help. He picked up the red checkered scrunchie that she had on her dressing table and held it out for her but Connie nodded and let him do it while she was finishing up her makeup. Connie started to do her eyeliner while Luke watched with a smile on his face confused on what she was doing but guessing that it was something that she did when they were getting ready for a performance. Once it was getting closer to Connie having to leave her mom shouted saying that she was going to work and Connie should get to school. Luke made sure that she had everything but kept her lyric journal with him because he wanted to look through it and she went to school.
As soon as Connie got to school she was surrounded by people asking for photos and autographs. She felt really overwhelmed and had no idea how Sunset Curve managed with all these people coming up to them and asking them for photos. Once Connie got out of the wall of people that were surrounding her she tried to find Julie and Flynn so they could all get away from everyone. When she found Julie she was also surrounded by people who were asking for photos and then Nick walked over and Connie went over to Flynn and started to talk to her. Flynn was happy that Connie had celebrated her birthday for the first time in forever and knew that it was going tobe one small thing that was going to push her to want to celebrate it. Soon two cheerleaders came over to Connie and Flynn and had letters in their hands.
"Hey Connie, could you give these letters to the holograms?" One of the cheerleaders asked.
"Yeah, who are they for?" Connie asked, wondering if someone wrote one for Luke.
"Just Luke and Reggie" The other cheerleader said
"By any chance are the love letters"Connie asked, hoping that they weren't.
"Yeah they are" The cheerleader said.
Connie took the letters and as soon as they walked away she put the letters in the bin. Flynn couldn't help but laugh when she put the letters in the bin and they both looked over to Julie and saw that the conversation that she was having with Nick wasn't going that well. Soon Julie came back over and told them that Nick asked her out and she said no because she felt like the band was going to take up most of her time. Connie told her that she should have just gone for it and that they could work around the date. Soon Connie was called to a dress rehearsal of Carrie and had to quickly leave which gave Julie a great idea to show Luke that his parents still cared about him. She waited until the end of the day and then she went to Connie's and started to tell her the plan.
Julie handed Connie the song that she was planning on giving Luke's mom and she started to read it. She never realised how much Luke was hurting when he ran away from home. It all started to make sense when it was his birthday and he was really upset it was because he regretted running away. Connie knew that it was a great plan and that she was all for it because she wanted to help her boyfriend. Connie didn't tell Julie that she was dating Luke because she had no idea how she would react and decided that she would tell her later. Connie grabbed her flannel that Luke had picked out for her this morning and started to walk to Luke's house. As Julie was about to ring the doorbell when Luke poofed next to them making the girls jump.
"Luke!" The girls said, shocked.
"What are you doing here?" Luke said quietly, looking at Connie.
