Chapter Ten

Skylor quietly hummed as she cleaned up her shop after the last customers left. She whiped off the counters with a wet cloth. Her hand stopped when she heard a sound. "Hello? Is someone there? The place is closed." She said looking around the empty restaurant. The room seemed empty but something seemed off about it. As she looked around once more she couldn't help but get a bad feeling. She shifted when she heard the wind whistling through a now open door. She put down the cloth and went to the door to shut it, grabbing the handle and closing it. She looked ahead at the doors reflection and noticed a darkened figure behind her. She quickly turned around sending a kick at them, sending the intruder a few feet back. She looked at the intruder getting into fighting position. "Who are you?"

She demanded. She studied the person, trying to get an idea of who they are.
The intruder chuckled and took off their hood and mask with both their hands to reveal their face. "Oh... Skylor, I'm sorry. Did I scare you~?"

Her eyes widened at the sight of the fire ninja. His hair now darker along with his skin a slight green. She looked at his glowing green eyes, confused. "Wha- Kai?" She asked. Her head turned when she saw three other forms appear, Ghosts. She looked back at Kai as he had already gotten up and approached her.

"Now now. I just came to visit for a little something. Something that once belonged to your father." He said to her. "I know you have it and you're going to tell me where it is. It's pretty urgent."

Skylor glared at him. "You're not Kai, so I'm guessing you're Morro. Lloyd warned me about you." She said glaring at the other ghosts and back at Morro.
"So he's talking about me? That's nice to hear. I wonder how scared he is right now. Are you scared?" He asked gripping the handles of his cursed weapon.

"No, quite the opposite." She said and disappeared, using the master of invisibility element.

Morro slashes his sword at where she once was and looked around trying to find her. "Pretty powerful element you have. The ability to borrow others. Must be fun having that kinda power." He said with a small smirk.

Skylor waited before going for an attack, tripping the possessed ninja. She attempted to hold him down but was blown away as wind blew around him, pushing anything near away from him. She hit the wall and looked at him. 'So he's the master of wind? Now I know what his element is.' She thought to herself. She stood up from the ground and looked at him. "You wanted something from my father?" She scoffed. "He had a few things. Which have been destroyed. But if you want to know where his painting is it's at the museum." She said with a sly smirk.

Morro growled. "I'm not here for games. Your father had a book of information about forgotten and powerful artifacts and relics. It's where he discovered that staff." He told her.
"How do you know he does?" She asked looking at him, waiting while keeping him distracted.

"Because he told me." He said with a grin receiving a shocked expression from the girl which quickly changed when she turned to look at two of his screamers that had started eating the food from her shop.

"Hey! Get away from there!" She demanded, shooting Ice that scared them away. She looked back at Morro only to be hit from the side and against some chairs from a counter.

Morro walked towards her as she got up again. "Go on. No element can overpower mine." He said. He shifted when the girl jumped at him, grabbing him by the arm.

She planned to use his own own element against him but shot fire at him sending him backwards. "Fire? But I was supposed to-."

"Receive my element?" He shucked getting up and shook his head. "Sorry, looks you'll be having some trouble trying to get it." He said. "You aren't the only one who can tame fire." He said as a flame lit up in his hand. "Guess I'll be forcing the information out of you after all." He said shooting fire at her.

Skylor quickly went out of the way jumping over and behind a counter for protection. She breathed as she tried to regain some air. "Where are you guys when I need you." Skylor quietly mumbled.

"Tell me where it is!" Morro demanded, sending a warning blast over the counter, burning the wall and items around it.

Skylor winced as the sudden attack and looked at the burning damage. She sighed hoping insurance would cover that. She looked over and quickly came up with a plan. "You wanted to know where its at? You'll have to use your head!" She said, quickly getting up, placing her hand to her head and used Neuro's element.

Morro cried out loud at the suddened attack, causing some disruption with his control over Kai. Morro droped his weapon ans gripped at his head, trying to fight back control as Kai acted.

Skylor was interrupted as one of Morro's friends came and pushed her against the wall with their hand around her throat. Bansha held in place while soul archer walked over to Morro.

"Sorry we're late. Had to make sure the trap went off." The soul archer said looking back at Skylor. "The ninja will be here soon..." he said.

Morro growled, regaining full control. Morro looked at her taking in some breaths from the pain in the head she caused. He gritted his teeth. "Bansha! You know what to do..." he said.

Skylor looked at Morro more and back at Bansha who chuckled.
"Dont worry... this won't hurt a bit." Bansha said as her eyes glowed a brighter green.

A sudden pain came over her mind and Skylor let out a painful scream.
