Essay 18: What I Know, Philosophy
In Philosophy, all I know is that the word itself is composed of the two Greek words which is 'philien' or 'philo' means love and 'sophia' or 'sophos' means wisdom, therefore Philosophy is "Love of Wisdom".
The name Philosophy is originally came from Phytagoras, a Mathematician and Philosopher while the topic of it came from Plato and the first philosopher of Greek tradition is Thales, a Mathematician and an Astronomer that was considered to be by Aristotle. Also, Philosophy is a study of man in relation to his own destiny, nature of existence, knowledge, truth and ethics. The study of Philosophy often in general or in abstract. It is also important because this helps us to enhance our ability to solve problems, our writing skills and our communication skills.
This aims to make our understanding more deeper, teaching us to improve our qualifications in life and to act wisely for us not to be in any harm that our environment can possibly do so.
