Dream felt a presence on top of him as he began to wake, the feeling of another chest pressing against his and an arm lazily draped down his side. He brought his hand to his eyes rubbing them before opening them, laying across him, as expected was george. Takeaway boxes on the table, movement was heard in another room but he didn't pay attention to it.

He let george sleep as he pulled his phone from the side, careful with his movements as george was still on top of him.

his phone was on 12% and he had a few missed messages from sapnap

[Sapnap: Sorry for last nights messages, the note insisted on drinking more when we got in. The apartment might be trashed 😅] 09:21
[Sapnap: Where are you, you didn't come home last night??] 10:16am
[Sapnap: Dreaammmmmmmmm] 10:20am
[Sapnap: ???? I don't have any of the bands numbers and alex has said none of them have picked up, are u okay??] 10:47

Dream looked at the current time, 11:48am

he began typing

[Dream: I'm so sorry, me and george must've fallen asleep last night, i didn't expect to stay the night :[ is everything okay?]

sapnap replied almost instantly

[Sapnap: Holy fuck dream; i almost called the cops. I thought you'd gotten lost or had overload on your way home again-]

dream frowned

[Dream: I'm not completely incapable of taking care of myself nick, i'm 21, you don't need to baby me]

[Sapnap: i know, i'm sorry i just worry that's all]

[Dream: I appreciate you looking out for me, love you brother even if you're a pain in the ass sometimes]

[Sapnap: Coming from the one who stayed at a pretty boys house last night without letting his roommate know, but love u too brother, you coming home?]

[Dream: Yeah i'll wait for george to wake up then i'll come back]

The two ended their conversation and dream put his phone back down, he noticed how george smiled in his sleep against his chest, with dread he shook him slightly

"George, i've gotta get going" He smiled as george bobbed his head up sleepily
"oh- okay" he smiled getting off of dream and stretching
"Sorry for falling asleep" he added in followed by a yawn
"it's not a problem, you're a pretty sleeper" dream chuckled grabbing his things like his phone, keys and other items that had fallen out of his jean pockets.

"thanks" george blushed stretching his back out, he took dream to the door, they said their goodbyes

"will you be at the bar tonight?" george asked leaning against the door frame

"as long as you are"

"i'll see you tonight"

"that you will" Dream smiled as the pavement met his feet and he began walking to the direction of his house.

"So dream, did you kiss him again?" sapnap smirked as he lazed on the couch, whilst dream took his shoes off at the door
"I've just got in!" dream exclaimed followed by a wheeze
"i'm curious!"
"No, we didn't"
"Shame; there's always tonight"
"we cuddled i think"
"that's sweet"
"yeah, he looked really pretty" dream fiddled with his hands in a shy manner looking away from sapnap
"god you really like this guy don't you"
dream nodded
"as long as you're happy, i'm happy clay"
"thank you sap, i'm going to have a shower and get ready for tonight"
"I should probably do the same"
"yeah you look like you haven't bathed in weeks"
"it was quieter when you weren't here"
"oh shut up you definitely missed me"
"i wouldn't count on it" sapnap chuckled walking into his room.

Dream walked to his shower, taking his dirty clothes off and turning the water on, he got in thinking about the night before, it was a comforting day, one he was sure to remember. He cleaned himself down, washing his hair and face before getting out.

He looked in the mirror smiling back at himself as the hot air and steam began to fog it.

His hair was at a wavy length, slightly longer than the average, he looked to the hair clippers plugged in on the side. He shrugged and began to shave the sides of his hair down to a shorter length leaving the top. He grabbed a hair tie and tied it into a small manbun at the back. He ran his fingers over freshly cut hair and brushed the thin hairs down cleaning them into the trash.

He walked out to the closet and took out a white shirt and light blue denim jacket, with light grey jeans. He pulled them on looking back himself in the full length mirror in his room, he grabbed a necklace that his mother had bought for him a few years back, it was silver with a small C hanging from it. He tucked it beneath his shirt and put deodorant and cologne on before rushing back to the bathroom to brush his teeth.

He took his phone off charge noticing a message from george.

[GeorgeNotFound: Special song for you tonight, after the gig wait for me outside the back where we met :] ]

dream felt his heart skip a beat or two as a deep smile overtook his face, he was now more excited than ever. He slid his phone into his jeans pocket and practically leaped out of the room almost falling into sapnap who was casually exiting his room

"You seem way too excited to be going out"
"It's because i am"
"Never thought i'd hear you excited to... leave the house" Sapnap laughed, a short wheeze escaping dream, "Well, i have something to be excited for"

The two left the house making the short walk to the bar, upon entering the familiar smell of alcohol and the sound of laughter from small groups hit them. Sapnap smiled making his way to the bar, alex was bartending whilst karl was already sat speaking to him, dream smiled making his way to his usual seat.

He sat down looking up at george who was stood on stage adjusting the mic, doing sound checks. Dream admired the boy, excited to see what he had in store.

He took his phone out and wrote a tweet, he hadn't been active too much over the last two days.

he closed his phone as he heard george introduce the band, george tried desperately not to look in dreams direction but his eyes slipped every so often, and they began.
