Chapter 2: Surprise!

Checking myself over by the mirror, I deemed it perfect and took my belongings before heading out. Just thinking about how surprised the boys might look makes me so happy. I think I was smiling weird cause one of the staff really tried her best not to look freaked out.

Concealing my inner childish joy, I left the hotel in my car and headed straight for Cheong Myeong company. Although after 10 minutues into driving I realised something important.

I didnt know where I was going.

Crap.

I quickly took out my phone and used google maps to direct my way instead. When I saw that my destination was in the opposite direction from where I was going, I groaned and re route from there.

On the way to the company, I had to pass Han River. I slowed down a bit and looked at the scenery a bit. I really had a lot of memories in korea, but the Hangang Bridge really gave a memory that made me who I am today. Recalling the memory gave me a little motivation to my day, and with that I sped up.

After I reached my destination I parked my car, and looked for the entrance. Last I heard from the boys, the company was under SandBox and had yet had to expand. I didnt know that SandBox was this beautiful to look at though.

Passing through the security, I went in and reached the main floor where a lot of other companies were located as well.

Great job Hara, surprise my ass you forgot you are bad with directions, I thought to myself.

Looking around one more time, I decided to ask someone around. I stopped the first person that didnt look busy and hoped to god she would have an answer.

"Hi, ex-" I stopped myself from speaking in english and continued in korean "jogiyeo? (Excuse me), sorry but may I know where is the Cheong Myeong company is located?"

She gave me a once over and asked "May I know who you are?"

"Ah, I'm Kim Hara, I had some business there so..." I replied, I hope I didnt look like a person who wanted to disturb people from their work, although thats exactly what I'm doing...

"Oh, I work there so I can lead the way if you're okay with it" she suggested while holding a bunch of drinks, which I just realised she had on her hand.

"Really? Thank you, that would be great!" I thanked, grateful that so far things have been going good.

After that we got on the elevator and went to the 2nd floor where there were different hallways. I kept walking straight and towards a distance, I could see the sign 'Cheong Myeong Company'.

But wow sandbox is cool. I thought to myself as I accessed my surroundings. In 2STO, the interior was quite friendly so it gave a comfortable vibe, which is the same feeling I get around here.

In a moment, we were in front of the door and the employee pointed to the door and opened it, stepping in.

I really hope they gonna be surprised.

I let out a breath and entered the room. The first thing I noticed where that everyone was busy. They were so concentrated in their work and they didnt even notice someone walked in. I guess some things never change huh?

Seeing this my companion let out a cough. "Taepyo-nim, there's a person here for some business" she called out. After this, the whole room turned towards our direction. Before the CEO even got a word in, the boys reacted first.

"Wha-"

"WHOAAAA"

"Noona?"

I smiled at their reaction and gave a little wave. "Hey guys!"

"Hey,,, waitwait we- oomphhh" Before I had the time to react, I was wrapped in a group hug. "I. Can't. Breathe." I finally let out after a while. Thankfully they decided to lete live a little longer. 

"NOONA!" Chul San exclaimed.

"Hara Noona! You really here!!! Wait- how- what-?" Yong San asked looking confused but still had that smile on his face.

I laughed at their expressions and opted to wink as an answer. "I came to surprise you guys, since you oh so graciously left without saying goodbyeeee~" I said sarcastically, giving them an eye.

They all laughed and reminded me how everyone expected them to leave anyway and that it wasn't a secret. Facts though, Alex was hoping for a different answer but we kinda knew what's next.

I turned to Do San who was smiling and had yet to get a word in. I nudged him with my elbow and raised my brows, a simple gesture that was meant to ask how the other person is. Before he replied though there was another voice.

"Um Do San-ah, is it someone you know?" The soft voice spoke in a whisper but I heard it. She was really beautiful with her long hair and doe like eyes. She must be the girl Do San was talking about on call.

"She's Hara noona, remember? I mentioned it once, she was our closest friend back in Silicon Valley" Do San introduced.  Her eyes widened in recognition after and she smiled. She stretched her hand for a shake and was about to introduce herself but Chul San interrupted.

"Wait Taepyo-nim! Before you introduce yourself, noona here has special skill to recognize people without introductions!" He exclaimed. He turned to me and asked me to guess her name instead.

"Haiya! This is a bit embarrassing Chul San... But okay let me try" I laughed. I already knew who she was through my research but I don't think thats the answer he was looking for.

"Ermmm, the baseball lady?" Do San always used to stare at his baseball but failed to mention the meaning or the person behind it. I hope I got the right person though. I looked around to see everyone shocked at my answer.

Shit... Wrong person?

"Wow noona! It gets me everytime! How did you know? I didnt tell anyone though!???" Do San said in a surprised voice, while I subtly let out a breath. Jesus these boys will be the death of me sometimes haha.

"Its cause I have some sense okay!?" I replied back and smiled. I faced the baseball lady again who had a confused face and went for a hand shake. "Seo Dal Mi - Taepyonim, right? My name is Kim Hara" she shook out of her trance and shook my hand.

"Oh yes! Nice to meet you. But wow how do you know me? It really is surprising" she asked. She seems cheerful which makes it easier to get along.

"Of course I would know, you're very popular for the Self-driving car release thats going on" I politely replied.

"Noona noona, can you guess who is this?" Chul San asked, referring to the employee who lead me to this office. Since I didnt get to get a good look at her before, I took a good look at her now. She was beautiful and I can tell she and I would have so much fun.

"Erm,,, pie nim?" I replied. Chul San let out a laugh of surprise and nodded to my answer. Though I doubt his partner thought so, since she was giving him the stink eye.

"Let me introduce myself properly, I'm Jung Sa Ha" though she gave Chul San a glare, she smiled politely to me and we shook hands. "But if I'm not wrong, didnt you come here for some business?" She asked after our introductions.

"Ah yes, I actual-" before I had the time to explain myself, another voice drowned out all the noise in the room.

"What is happening here?"
