"Hey, anong iniisip mo dyan?" All the flashback moments in my mind stop when Gun suddenly speaks and taps my palm with his pointing finger.
I look at him when and got back to my senses, nandito na pala kami sa canteen.
"Wala," I said and look around the whole canteen, para maghanap ng mauupuan naming dalawa.
Gun and I have this habit to eat after classes before we go home, "Kanina pa ako nagsasalita but you're not listening, you're spacing out again," he said and pinched my nose before he pulled me to the nearest available table.
Hinila at pinaupo niya ako sa upuan bago ipinatong ang kamay sa lamesa at nilapit ang mukha sa akin. "The usual?" he said and smirked, I smiled at him and nodded.
"At your service Miss," he said and pinch my cheeks before he went through the counter.
Ang uwian namin around 3 to 4 kaya nagmemeryenda kami ni Gun dito sa canteen. He's already a second-year level student council member, basketball member, and also one of the school models, his face is all around the school because it's used for advertising the school.
That's why he's famous here, I glance at him and sigh because just like I was saying this guy is famous, kaya biglang dumami ang pumipilang babae sa counter dahil sa kanya.
Halata naman sa mga mukha ng mga ito na si Gun ang dahilan kung bakit sila nagsipila, halos matunaw si Gun sa mga titig at ngiti ng mga kababaihan sa kanya.
Nangalumbaba ako at pinanuod lang ang mga itong kiligin kay Gun, habang si Gun ay busy sa pag order ng pagkain namin dalawa.
Simula ng pumasok kami dito sa school na ito, mas lalo kaming naging close sa isat-isa at mas nakilala ko din siya at ganun din siya. Mas lumalim ang pagsasama namin dahil mas lalo kaming naging komportable at totoo sa tabi ng isa't-isa.
Gun never change, and about that courting thing...yes pumayag ako at hanggang ngayon ay nanliligaw pa rin siya. I mean we're still young but if I find the right time to say yes to him, gagawin ko dahil wala naman na kaming hihintayin pa kung alam naman namin na gusto namin ang isa't-isa.
"Hi Gun," napalingon ako sa babaeng naglalakad ng batiin nito si Gun habang naglalakad papalapit sa table namin ito habang dala ang order namin. "Hi," Gun said and looked at me.
"May kasama ka na bang kumain gusto mo samaha----," he cut her out and said, "See that lovely lady over there I'm courting her sorry I'm eating with her," He said that makes that girl glance at me with unexplainable expression.
"Ahh ok...," she said and walked away. Ngumiti si Gun at tuluyan nang umupo sa tabi ko. "The usual Miss" he said and served the food for me.
Ang tinutukoy nitong the usual ay ang palagi naming kinakain na peach ice cream and velvet cookie dito sa canteen. Halos araw-araw namin itong kinakain but also, he will order other food too.
"Hi Gun" Napalingon kaming dalawa ng ay bumati nanamang isang grupo ng babae sa kanya. Gun just smile at them while preparing my food in front of them. "I'm busy preparing food for my baby as you can see haha," he suddenly said, making this girl look at me and walk away.
"Your literally using me to make those girls stop bothering you right" sambit ko ng matapos niya nang ayusin ang pagkain ko at inayos naman ang kanya. "No, why would I use you when it's true?" he said and looked at me with those charming faded green eyes.
I try to control my smile when he stares at me like that but I couldn't hold it for a long time, I smile slightly to push his face away to stop him from staring.
"Such a flirty guy," I utter that makes him laugh even more, "I'm flirty when it's you but to other girls? Never gonna happen" he said. "Kumain na nga tayo dami mong sinasabi eh," Sambit ko at nagsimula na kaming kumain.
"By the way have you already chosen a dress to wear to the accountancy party?" tanong niya habang ngumunguya ng burger at kinagatan ang velvet cookie na hawak ko.
"Wala pa," Sagot ko at uminom ng juice, "Want me to come with you? I'll help you choose your dress" he said pero agad akong umiling.
"No need I can handle it" I said, gusto ko kasi siyang isurprise man lang sa susuotin kong dress sa party. "You sure? May gusto ka bang ipabili sa aking make or something just tell me," He keeps on insisting things when he already bought me a set of palettes last week.
"Diba kakabili mo lang nong nakaraan, tsaka tama na nga yon hindi naman ako madalas mag make up," sambit ko at sinubuan siya ng peach Ice-cream.
"Ok ok, I'll stop buying na but you sure you don't want me to choose a dress with you? I mean I don't really care if we stay the whole day in a women's store just by choosing your dress... I would like to accommodate you at any time" here we go again with his boyfriend material mode.
"Nope, I'm ok just calm yourself I can handle this," I said and was about to eat a spoon of ice cream when Gun stole it and ate it instead.
"Can I be your escort to the party?" tanong niya at pinunasan ang gilid ng labi ko, "Tinatanong pa ba yan?" malumanay kong sambit, he smirks and suddenly stand up.
Ang biglaan niyang pagtayo ay naging dahilan ng pag-agaw ng atensyon ng karamihang estudyante at kababaihan dito sa canteen.
"Everyone for those who are asking if I can be their escort on the party tomorrow sorry, I'm taken----," hinapas ko ang hita niya kaya natigilan siya at tiningnan ako.
"I mean I'm taken to be the escort of this lovely lady over here," sambit niya at umupo ulit sa tabi ko at kinain ang velvet cookie na hawak ko, na parang wala siyang ginawang kalokohan.
I look at everyone and they are all looking at us, some of them are smiling and some of them look so sad.
"Shet! Inggit ako!" I heard some girls say, "Inggit ako pero kinikilig ako ano ba!!!" all of them keep on mumbling something but i choose to ignore it and resume eating.
I watch Gun eat and can't help to thank god for making me meet him. I know I act so embarrassingly to every single word he said when he's proclaiming that he's courting me but deep inside, I feel so happy and my heart keeps on jumping because of him.
Gun is the perfect definition of boyfriend material...
I grab a can of coke and drink it and handed it to him, para makainom din siya... "Here drink it," I said kahit na tumutulo na ang coke mula sa aking bibig dahil hindi ko pa nalulunok lahat.m
"Thanks," he said and instead of getting the coke from my hand he grab my hand and pull as I felt his lips on the lower side of my lips and gently suck a dripping coke from my lips.
"Wow, this coke suddenly taste so sweet," he said and act like his looking at the can discription, I babdly know na namumula na ang buong mukha ko ngayon kaya agad kong kinuha ang abg ko at tumayo na...
"Tara na umuwi na tayo," I said and start walking, "Yes, Ma'am," Gun said and walk beside me.
When I look at him, I saw how he slowly lick the lower part of his lips, and suddenly I push him a bit.
My face is burning!!!
"Hey why?" he playfully said.
