Clay grunted as his eyes began to flutter, he realised he was in his room

"look who decided to wake up" nick smiled, clay looked over
"wheres george?" clay tried to sit up but was gently pushed back down by nick "you're burnt to hell clay just chill for once alright?" nick smiled
"nick wheres george" he asked again
nick sighed and patted clays shoulder before leaving the room

clay began to panic

the door opened again; this time it was george, he practically ran in and leaped ontop of clay wrapping himself over him, clay yelped in pain slightly

george tried to scramble off but clay held him down
"i'm sorry if i hurt you"
"the pain was worth it if it meant i got to hold you again after so long"
george smiled before the emotions got the better of him, a relieved sob escaped him clay wrapped his arms around georges neck and pulled him close. Upon doing so he noticed his hands were all bandage, nick had mentioned burns.

"are you feeling okay love?" clay ran a hand through georges hair
"yeah, i don't feel pain."
"i'd rather me than you george"
george pulled clays face close and their lips interlocked tracing the outline of each others lips. the kiss was long and passionate before clay pulled away

"god i missed you" clay pulled himself back for the kiss
"i don't want to be apart from you again clay" he melted into clays touch

"even after so much you're still beautiful, how do you manage it george"
"i could ask you the same"
george planted a kiss on clays neck.

george grabbed clays hand and put it on his own chest
clay looked up at him with confusion
"you feel that?"
clay nodded
"it's beating because of you clay" george lowered clays hand still holding it before planting a gentle kiss on his forehead
"i love you george"
"i love you too clay"

george got off of clay and motioned for clay to cuddle up to him, which he did.

clay soon fell asleep and nick entered the room

"i'm glad you're both okay" nick smiled placing a glass of water he'd brought for them on the beside table
"thank you for everything nick" george smiled
"i hardly did anything"
"you did more for us than you'll ever realise"
"did he seem like he was in a lot of pain?"
"no, a little but he seems alright" george smiled
"what do you think happened to everyone else, they fled after i found you two" nick leant against the wall looking in georges direction
george shrugged "i don't know, neither do i really care. they left me to die in that house"
"i still can't believe they did that"
"i would've died if it wasn't for clay"
"he cares for you george, he'd give his life just to see you smile"
"he's crazy" george chuckled kissing the top of clays head
"maybe he is, but is that really a bad thing?"
"hm, maybe it isn't"
"well i need to check on bad, he's been locked away in his room all day"
"goodbye nick, thanks again" george smiled as he watched nick leave.

georges eyes diverted back to clay, clays arms were bandages due to burns and his face had a cut which was rather large, probably from the explosion.

Clay was shirtless, giving george the opportunity to watch his soft breaths with every rise and fall of his chest, george traced the outline of the defined parts of clays body with the tip of his finger; he wrapped his arms tightly around him planting a kiss every so often over anywhere available

"i suppose i'm lucky that the world blessed me with a soulmate like you clay" george watched as clay smiled in his sleep, george put a hand to clays cheek and kissed his lips gently, a small peck before pulling away and looking back at his face.
