"I WANT A PHOTO HOLD STILL" Lily yelled out at the group of friends as they stood down by the black lake, waiting for the boats to arrive.
"Lilyflower no one is moving" James quipped back, as this was the 15th time Lily had demanded a photo.
The group was growing tired and even the usual giggly babies, seemed quite upset. This was they group of teenagers last day at Hogwarts, at least their kids would get to come back. Non the less Scarlett and Poppy-Lynn knew Hogwarts as their home, it was everyone's and it was sad to say goodbye.
"Can you believe we did it?" Lia asked moving over to Ivy once Lily had collected the last photo.
"It's just weird that it's over ya know? I would kill to come back one day" Ivy smiled up at the castle while bouncing the 8 month old Scarlett on her hip.
"Professor Sprout is getting older, you could become the Herbology teacher" Ophelia suggested with a smirk.
"You already know I can't do that Lia. The war is here, I'm fighting. After it's over than I can think about myself, right now everything is just to keep my family alive" Ivy sighed. Her hair turning a shade of navy as she looked out to the water, avoiding Lias gaze.
"And that's what we'll do Ives. All of us were family rather you like it or not. We aren't going down without a fight, you need to remember that when I disappear" Lia explained, sending a sad smile to her best friend.
"Enough sadness!! I need something happy to focus on" Ivy announced, talking in a babyish voice more to her daughter than Lia.
"Agreed- wait woah Ivy Ivy Ivy look!!!" Lia screeched pointing excitedly over to James and Lily about 10 feet away.
James fricking Potter was down on one knee in front of every 7th year in the courtyard proposing to Lily Evans, Ivy's twin sister. Oh was Ivy ready to add some chaos into her life again.
Making their way over to the front of the group that had surrounded the couple. Remus, Sirius and Peter, also made their way over. Everyone sharing shocked glances.
"Did you know about this?" Ivy whispered up to her fiancé.
Sirius just shook his head no before asking the same, assuming James would've asked Ivy for permission, seeing as he asked Lily. Ivy also had no idea and would've preferred the honour of being asked, but she knew James loved her sister more than the world itself.
"2 galleons he fucks up the proposal and makes it more James than normal" Remus whispered to his friends, who unfortunately didn't take the bet as they all agreed with the werewolf.
"My dearest sweetest Lilyflower. I have loved you all my life and I will continue loving you more and more each day. The fact that you're even dating me to begin with I believe surprises us all-" James continued on with his speech as Ivy and Sirius broke down laughing, pushing away into the back of the crowd, as to not disturb the moment.
"This is so bad, we shouldn't be laughing" Ivy managed to say through airy breaths.
"Cmon Puddles even Scarlett thinks it funny" Sirius continued laughing and sure enough he was right. Scarlett's hair was golden and she was laughing to no tomorrow.
"It's kind of sweet if you think about it. James was an idiot with a hopeless crush and here we are 7 years later and he's still an idiot but now endlessly in love with my sister" Ivy smiled at the thought.
It was true everyone had come along way, but if you looked and analyzed each of the group closely you'd see there are still qualities about them form 1st year.
James would always be hopelessly in love with Lily.
Lily would always be the book smart one who thought before she felt.
Ophelia would always be carefree, now that she had her own life away from her parents.
Remus would always be insecure, but he had Lia and now Poppy to help him.
Peter would always be caring, that was something Ivy was sir could never change.
Sirius would always be the reckless, cheeky boy she met back in 1st year.
And Ivy despite everything she had and was yet to overcome would always hold the chaos that made her so unique. If Scarlett was the little fire than Ivy was going to be the ember to keep her lit.
After Lily eventually interrupting James proposal which was going on 13 minutes and 27 seconds. She said yes. All just in time for the boats to take the 7th years back across the lake, just like their first year.
"It's beautiful"

"Ew Siri shut up, you guys may be engaged but that's my best friend" Lia piped up from across the couple with Remus hiding his laughter in her shoulder.
"And my sister, hands off" Lily piped in with a smirk.
Ivy couldn't help but laugh as everyone began ganging up on Sirius acting like a bunch of 11 year olds and telling him he had cooties and what not. Sirius just pouted in his seat, before picking Ivy up and placing her on his lap, Scarlett in hers.
"Mine. Your mine. Everyone's so mean" Sirius mumbled into the back of Ivy's shirt.
"Baby they're joking, nobody's even paying attention to you anymore"
"Good"
"Good?"
"Great!" Sirius smiled like an idiot up at Ivy. 7 years and he still couldn't help but see her as his source of happiness, she was his freedom. The Potters may have given Sirius parents and a second brother, but Ivy game him a home, she gave him peace.
In the 7 years Sirius Black has known Ivy Evans, he had always seen her as someone to be thankful for. She took away his twins sadness, she made him change his ways, she gave him a beautiful daughter, and best of all Ivy Evans gave him her heart and return Sirius replaced hers with his.
