Bonus Chapter

One Year Later

Opening the car door, I walked up to the house, happy about a great game.

Another win added to the list.

As I was about to unlock the door, I saw a note plastered on the door. It read:

"It's been a long day. So come on in and head for the place where you'd grab a bottle of water."

I smiled, curious as to what adventure I would face today with Jasmine and Gracie. With them together, I never knew what to expect.

Opening the door, I headed for the refrigerator and grabbed a water bottle. Looking at I saw there was another note,

"You might want to take off your game clothes. So go find your pants, if that's your desire."

"Pants? Desire? Bedroom!" I said to myself and headed for our bedroom.

I quickly made it upstairs and when I walked in, I expected Jasmine, but it was only a teddy bear and my sweatpants on the bed.

Grabbing the pants, I saw there was a sticky note on the front pocket.

"Teddy Bears are as sweet as you," was the only hint, which was easy to spot since the bear was on the bed. After putting the pants on, I sat on the bed and looked for a sticky note on the bear. Soon I found on its butt.

"I do not have a face to see

or put inside a frame

I do not have soft cheeks to kiss

I don't yet have a name.

You can't yet hold my tiny hands

Nor whisper in my ear.

It's still too soon to sing a song,

Or cuddle me so near.

But all will change in June

That's when they say I'm due.

I'm the newest member of the family

I can't wait until I meet you.

All I ask between now and then

Is your patience while I grow.

I promise I'll be worth the wait.

Because of all the love, we'll know.

So what I have to give you now,

Is a wish to you from me.

I cannot wait to be a part

Of this wonderful family.

" We're having a baby!" Jasmine shouted, with Gracie by her side, smiling as I came down.
