5. Race to Bloodmoon pack

I was interrupted in my thoughts when I heard Jin Hyung chuckle loudly from the other room, causing me to startle out of my seat.

All of the cars left the mansion within a few minutes, but Ryujin had other plan. When our parents had been driving for thirty minutes, she mind linked them.

"Mom, I'm kind of having an upset stomach right now. I already take meds and just waiting for it to take effect then we're gonna hit the road."

"Daughter, I wasn't born yesterday. If you guys want to have a little car race, you just have to tell me. Anyway, I'm only giving you two hours to stay there. understood?" Mom answered by mindlink, and we all started laughing.

We mindlink her and we can tell that she's smiling, "Thanks, mom."

"It's so lame, I have an upset stomach," I said, mocking Ryujin.

We exited our cars first and took a seat on the couch in the underground parking lot. While we waited for the time to pass and Dad to mindlink us, we engaged in a small conversation and laughing at Jin's jokes.

"It's time to go, kids. The roads are open for your little car race, and we're almost nearing the blood moon pack." Dad said through mind link

"Children, drive carefully" mom said.
We all responded "Aye aye captains" in unison as we got set for our little auto race.

After that, we exit the mansion in our own cars. It took us fifteen minutes to get to the exclusive wolf-only road that is hidden deep in the forest. As per Dad's statement, the road is clear which implies that no other car or wolf will use it except for us for the next few hours.

Jimin yells, "Line up bitches!" as we form a line side by side.

"Hold up, what's gonna be our punishment for the last to arrived?" I asked

Jisoo answered, "Let's talk about it when we arrive blood moon pack."
"off we go then!" I said

"Kids, we arrived safe. Mind link me when you're near the pack already, Luna wants to welcome you all." Mom said through mind link

We all responded together via mindlink, "Sure, mom!"
"Ready!" Ryujin yelled as our autos' loud noise echoed throughout the forest.
"Set!" This time Jisoo yelled and another noise from our cars was heard
I took a breath, let out a shout, and moved the clutch to get it ready for a rapid drive.

"Go!!!!"

After that, everyone accelerated to the empty road in their cars. In our own time, the four of us enjoy driving our own cars and going to car racing. Every time, the last person to arrive got punished. Especially me, we truly enjoy this sport, i really do because I enjoy being in charge, how adrenaline makes my body feel and hearing the engine roar is exhilarating. As opposed to when they killed my parents., there was nothing I could have done to help them, however in this specific sport, I don't feel helpless, subservient omega in this activity.

As per usual, Jin, Jimin and I are the ones competing for the top spot. Every time has been the same, except I frequently placed first or second.

The pack is only five minutes away. I grinned, knowing that Jin had taken first place and I was in second position. However, I can win this race without a doubt if I press the gas pedal.

"We'll be there in three minutes, mom," Jimin said over mindlink. 

We're getting close to the blood moon pack's border when...

"Are you having fun, little one?"

"V?!!!"

"Hell yes! You missed me?"

After my parents died, I heard my wolf again for the first time. I was so hurt and broken-hearted after my parents passed away that I turned away from everyone, including my dearest wolf, V. A year after, I've been attempting to get in touch with him, but he hasn't responded. I wanted to tell him I was sorry for cutting him off and building a barrier between us.

When I heard him after 13 years, I was so astonished that I even pulled over. Fortunately, Jimin, Jisoo, and Ryujin were a good distance behind me and had plenty of time to dodge my car that can cause an accident. I was stunned to the point where I stood motionless for a few minutes. Unfortunately, the three cars behind me have already passed, which means I'm currently in last place.

"You should have examined your engine prior to the competition" Jimin said through mind link

I'm still staring off into space, trying to digest the fact that my wolf is back, when V interrupted me and said, "Hey, move bitch! Let's catch up later. Now get your ass moving."

"Yeah! You have a lot of explaining to do." I said to my wolf as I drove to the Blood Moon Pack.
I will certainly be the last person there for the first time but I'm happy because I feel that I'm whole once more.
