With the bittersweet defeat of The-O, the tournament of desire was over, however, the prize, and or the Stand arrow was nowhere to be found.
So Joey, Shizuka, and her family began heading towards the hospital where Jennifer was.
With the death of Barbra, the hope to save Jennifer with Josuke's power was the only positive thing Joey could see in the situation.
Jolyne: So let me get this straight, you used the tournament rules to make Shizuka marry you so you can have the money to pay for your sister's medical bills.
Joey: Yep, and I would do it again.
Shizuka: Blackmail me?
Joey: Marry you.
Shizuka:(rolls eyes)
Jolyne: Okay, break it up lovebirds!
Giorno:(sigh)... I'll get us a taxi. (whistles)
Josuke: Anyway... How's the old man?
Shizuka: Huh? Oh, he and mom are on some kind of cruise.
(Ring, ring)

Picking up the phone he answers.

Sven was sitting beside Jennifer's hospital bed, keeping her company by reading her magazines that she couldn't read in her condition.
Sven: Oh would you look at that... "Local Italian business, Passione, recommends leader for President."
Sven: That's pretty interesting... If you give a damn about Italian politics and let's be honest, who does?
Jennifer:(weak chuckle) T-the...Italians...?
Sven: Do they though?
Jennifer:(weak smile)
Sven:...
Sven: Are you okay there? You're looking really pale...
Sven:(mind) Even more than you did a few minutes ago...noticeably.
Sven: You need anything? Water, maybe the doctor?
Jennifer: No...no... I'm...(light gasp)...fine...just tired.
With the back of his hand, Sven checks her temperature.
Jennifer: What are...you...my mom...?
Sven: You're cold. Are you sure you're fine?
Jennifer: Just feeling...a...a bit weak. But that's o...o-okay...
Sven: How's that okay?
Jennifer: Because....that means...my Jojo is getting stronger...
Sven: Eh?
Sven:(mind) Either she's giving me some big sister crap...
Sven:(mind) Or Jojo's stand development has some connection to her condition. But how would she know that? And is that even a thing?
Jennifer: S-Sven...?
Sven: What's up?
Jennifer: Can...can you call...Jojo...I...I want to see him...
