It's Friday, day before Camila's parents would visit her for the weekend.
She woke up in an empty bed, her hand trying to find something warm besides her but she had found nothing, which made her frown and wish to go back to sleep where everything seems so much simpler.

She checked her phone and one reminder stood in top notification for today's day.

It's six in the morning, her tired body moved across her apartment to the kitchen where she made her simple breakfast; oats with banana and honey.

She ate in silence, her mind wandering around every topic she didn't talk with anyone. All she is doing is overthinking.

After Shawn told her in his old house about healing time, she was jealous.
Jealousness caused by that pretty woman from France, who made him come back to his old Shawn - who had his heart fixed and soul filled.

But not her old Shawn, she didn't see him in his eyes, when his eyes grew larger with spark nor that exciting grin he would always send her.

This Shawn was more cold - from the way he talked, emotionlessly to the way he moved like he was trapped.
Maybe, he just didn't want to fall again, because he was frightened he had no safe place to land.
So he was feeling like he's on the edge of the building waiting for his fingers to slip.

She smiled as she remembered as they were ready to leave, he gazed at three trophies, that were on one shelf.

He asked her how are they because he was sure he broke them all that day of his parents' funeral.

She answered him; that those are trophies from his parents' store, they always exhibited them to their customers, feeling so proud on his son.
Camila kept them in her room till the day they moved from her old house.
She always had a spare key and left them where they belonged.

She could swear to God, that she saw those old sparks of happiness in his eyes at that moment.
He smiled, and gave her small hug, told her 'thank you'

Her heart skipped beats as always as he touched her.

After she ate her breakfast she decided to text him for today.
After one and half hour, he came over and immediately took his daughter in his arms, giving her kisses as she giggled.

"Are you ready?" Shawn asked Camila, she shocked her head, "I just need to cover my dark circles and I'm done"

"Take your time, we won't be late" he smiled at her, she went to bathroom to do her makeup.

He wanted to tell her that she looks beautiful, but his mind blocked because he didn't compliment her in a long time.
He isn't sure if he can do that, how would she feel?

He felt Kiara squeeze his fingers as she talked baby language and smile with her teeth, he kissed her head, finding his inner peace whenever he's around her, kissing her and breathing her in.

He felt lost, he knows what he feels towards his daughter. He would take a bullet for her, but Camila - that's so confusing.

He loved her of course.
But not sure in which way.
He had hurt her so bad.
Scared if he touches her in a wrong way, his skin would burn hers.
He wants to hug her every now and then, because that's where he belongs but as he has his daughter in his arms, part of his desire is filled with love of this amazing small creature.

"I'm ready" she walked back, playing with her fingers, nervous.

His eyes locked with her's "everything is gonna be alright"

"I hope, I'm nervous, I'm scared. I'm - oh God -" he nodded in understanding, she just walked past him to go outside. They agreed he would drive her car because she had a car seat in it.
