a knock sounded on the other side pf chaeyoung's door. she didn't look up from her laptop as she said, "come in."
jimin peeked his curious head in, trying to figure out if it was safe, before fully entering. "hey, so, uh, the documents?" he asked shyly, not wanting to be there without good reason. lately, they had been spending a lot of time together, which was definitely unusual, and he just wanted things back to normal. back to when they hated each other.
"here," the blonde put a hand on top of a stack of papers laying by the comforter. jimin's eyes widened. "y-you mean we have to read all of that?" he gulped, nervously. chaeyoung smirked.
"no, we don't. you have to read all of that," she tilted her macbook screen to face him, showing the pdf. "i have to read this."
"seriously, this is too much work. i'd rather stay married." he sighed, pickin up his stack and sitting on the edge of the bed.
"we both know i'd rather die than stay married to you," she laughed, keeping her eyes on the computer. the corner of jimin's lips upturned at her attitude, liking the fiesty side of her.
wait, what? no, i don't like anything about her! his thoughts screamed. and then finally, he shook the thoughts away and focused on the words on paper.
SPEAKING: this chapter is very short but it used to be much much longer so i decided to split it in two and so the next chap is a big chunk of it lol
