Ash's P.O.V
"Anything exciting happen at school?" Alison asked me as Ace, her and I sat in the den watching some stupid documentary. Alison is always asking if I had "gossip" as I think she misses school life. Can't relate, I wish I never had to go.
"No Alison, for the ten billionth time! I don't even talk to anyone so why the fuck would I have any gossip?" I ask, getting irritated.
"So you're telling me you still haven't made any friends?" She asked bewildered as if it's the most unacceptable thing.
"No. Well I do talk to a girl in English who keeps inviting me to shit, like their stupid movie night tonight but her friends are annoying so I said no." I say hoping she'd shut up but nope, she just squeals in excitement and said that I should go.
"No. Nope. Not gonna happen." I say and fold my arms, slouching into the couch.
"Actually Ash, that doesn't sound like a bad idea. You need to start making friends and stop always fearing the worst." Via said as they walked down the stairs with Ruby. They took a seat on the couch next to us, with Ruby sitting on Via's lap. Not like there's space next to her or anything.
"No thank you. Besides, I have a job to do tonight. The drugs won't sell themselves." I say in mock sadness, looking down for added affect. Then I looked up to see Via look at me with a smirk. Fuck sake.
"Nope, you can have a night off and go to your little movie night, I'll get someone else to go in your place." They said smugly. Ruby just smiled at me with a look of sympathy and leaned her head on Via's shoulder and began to play on her phone.
"Look Ash, I can go with you if it'd make you feel better. Besides, I have nothing on tonight." Sasha said with a smile. I looked at Via to see if she could and they nodded her head. "I can come too!" Alison cut in excitedly.
"No can do pixie, you will be going to Earp's for the shipment with Ace. Give you guys more experience." They said and kissed Ruby on her forehead before lifting her to the seat next to her and standing up.
"Come, phone Ace and tell him to meet us at the warehouse." She said to Alison making her huff and get up to follow her. Then she looked at me. "And Ash? Try and actually have fun and make friends. Okay?" They said, giving me a pointed look and walked out yelling to Ruby that she loved her. Gross.

Now I'm sat between Sasha and Maddie whilst Isla sat on the floor with her back against the other couch that Jay and Joe sat on. We all decided on 'XXX: Return of Xander Cage' and every time Ruby Rose or Deepika Padukone came on the screen she'd squeal and blush. And by the looks on the other's faces she does that a lot during this film. They said it was one of her favourites before putting it on which is believable as she got so excited when they suggested it.
Halfway through the film (that was surprisingly good, Isla has good taste) I got a text from Via saying that there was a party tomorrow and I were to go and capture a person named 'Buzz'. What a stupid fucking name. They also said it'll be a quick and quiet task so I can invite my new "friends" which made me roll my eyes. Sash must've noticed as she gave me a questioning look so I just handed her my phone so I never interrupted the film.
Then all of a sudden she screamed causing everyone to look at her alarmed. "We" She started and pointed to everyone in the room."Are going to a party tomorrow. We'll send youse the address. No room for argument!" She finished making everyone go quiet. Great, they're the weirdos that hate to party. Eh, what am I saying? I hate parties too.
"I don't think that's a good idea." Jay said eerily and glanced at Isla. "I think it'll be fun, don't you Maddie? You love parties and Joe, you can get yourself a girl. Besides, I have nothing better to do tomorrow." Isla, surprisingly, said causing everyone to look at her with concern but slowly nodded their heads. Great, more time with these morons.

Isla's P.O.V
"Isla, are you sure you're up to this?" Maddie asked warily as we arrived at the house the party was at. "Of course I am, why wouldn't I be? We used to go to parties all the time. Besides, my dad and sister aren't home this weekend so we can go to mines after and have a sleepover!" I exclaimed and walked in front of them. I looked back to see if they were following and seen them give each other worried glances. Why are they so worried? Nothing will happen.
I was walking to the kitchen when I felt like I had forgotten something. Oh well. I take a bottle of water, after making sure it was sealed properly. I don't like alcohol as the thought of being drunk and vulnerable makes me feel weird. I'd rather be high, Besides I've seen what it can do to people.
Oh, I remember now. I wasn't supposed to leave the others. Oops.
I go around the cloudy, crowded house looking for them but only found Sasha sitting on the couch with someone laughing and drinking and Ash near the front door with a very drunk person. She seems to actually be nice, helping people that are passed out drunk. I smiled at that and continued to look for my friends, starting with the back garden.
"Hey pretty. Want a hit?" A voice said when I reached the garden where there was only a couple of smokers huddled in a corner due to the cold. I looked to my left and seen someone offer me a joint. I'm not supposed to anymore but I haven't in ages, surely nothing will happen.
"Sure!" I said and reached for it before taking a hit and coughing. I learned over the years that if someone offers you a joint you pretend it's your first and sometimes if you're lucky they won't make you pay. Well not a lot make you pay if it's just a hit but better to be careful. They laugh at me causing me to smile and take another draw.
"Little strong for you?' They asked taking it back. "Wish it was stronger" I half joked and laughed, starting to feel it. "Well, if you want something stronger I can help with that." They said, I gave them a confused look. "Here" They said handing me the joint, which I continued to smoke as they reached into their pocket.
"Take these, just as good of effect as this shit." They said nodding to the nearly finished joint that I held and handed me a bag of white and yellow pills, about the size of my pinkie nails. "Thanks" I said dragging out the 'S' and hit the giggles. They shook their heads and lit another joint.
"Much I owe you?" I ask looking at the bag in wonder. "Nothing since it's your first. Just remember who gave you them when you are scoping for more. Alright?" They asked and I nodded. They said they could give me their number so I can contact them easier. After they put the number in my phone they told me to hide the pills before walking back into the house. What a nice person.
