Ash's P.O.V
I may have been wrong. The group isn't as weird as I pegged them for. They are still weird but are more interesting than I thought. They seem to care about each other a lot and don't seem to be the nerdy group I pinned them as.
I learned a lot about their weird, quiet friend group. Maddie, short for Madeline, is white with ginger hair and blue eyes, is around five foot five, straight and works at a small cafe in town. She is the oldest in the group as she is the only one that's eighteen. Her pronouns are she/her
Joe and Jay are twins and are seventeen. Joe, short for Josephine, is black and has brown hair, rlly pretty brown eyes, is around my height and is the youngest twin. She's a lesbian and wants to be a lawyer. Her pronouns are she/her. Jay, short for Jacob, is also black and has brown hair, brown eyes the same as their sister, about a couple inches taller than me and is quite quiet. Their pronouns are they/them.
Isla is the youngest of the group as she just turned seventeen. She's white, about the same height as Ruby, has dark brown hair and brown eyes. She goes by she/her pronouns. She seems the quietest of the group as she hasn't spoke to me once. She has sat the whole lunch with her earphones in and picking at her food. I asked Joe what was wrong with her but she said that she does that a lot. As I said, weird.

Isla's P.O.V
After that scary lunch with Ash I made my way to maths. I have been dreading this period and now I have to go. What if he does something again? I don't want anything to happen. And he's going to think I'm dumber than I am.
I decide to skip maths and headed to the library. I had a quick conversation with the librarian when I arrived. He always allows me to skip class here as he says I don't annoy him and actually read.
I sat at my usual table at the back and put my earphones in, took my book out and started reading.
Halfway through the period someone slams their bag on the desk in front of me making me jump. I looked up and seen Max glaring at me with an annoyed facial expression causing me to shrink back.
I take my earphones out before he started ranting and raving about how he has to waste his time looking for me. Waste his time tutoring me. Waste his time on someone so stupid and useless. Waste his time on me.
I just nodded as he spat each word as it was all true. If I could just take in what I'm taught and understood it I wouldn't need help. I wish I could just study like everyone else but I never remember anything and when I do its useless information that's never in the tests.
"-and now I've to sit in this depressing ass place and help you of all people. I swear I better not catch your weirdness disease or some shit. And if anyone ever finds out I'm helping your pathetic ass you will pay. Understand?" I nod and direct my attention to my hands that are in my lap playing with the wire of my earphones. This is going to be absolute torture.

"No! I want to watch Deadpool!" Maddie yelled and tried to grab the remote from Joe before they both fell off the couch and started fighting over it. I only left for five minutes to get snacks.
It was now Friday and we were having our movie night that we have regularly. It was my turn to host which was ideal as my Dad wasn't home. Again.
"Will you guys stop already? And besides, it's my turn to choose this week." I said and took the remote from them after sitting the food on the coffee table. "But you always pick the same thing." Maddie whined after getting up and helping Joe to her feet.
"I do not!" I defend and huffed. This caused them all to look at me with a weird look.
"I'm pretty sure, if we all shouted out what you'd chose at the same time it would be the same." Jay said and the rest nodded in agreement. "Go then" I challenged, folded my arms and gave them a smug look. I don't make them watch it that much.
"Girl, Interrupted!" They all yelled at me causing me to gasp and throw the closest pillow at Jay, as they were the closest. This caused a massive pillow fight before the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it!" Maddie yelled and jumped up before rushing to the door. We just stared at each other confused as we never have anyone else join us. Just as I get up to see who Maddie invited, she walked in with a smile on her face followed by Ash and another person.
