EP-24 [ SHE IS SAYING I AM JEALOUS]

Lily's POV:
I returned back home by 6o'clock. As soon as I crossed Haney's door, I remembered about the exchange offer. Slowly, it started filling my head.

I just directly went to my room and went to freshen up.

[FEW MOMENTS LATER]

Haney: Lily? Where did this girl go?
I'll just wait in her room.

(Haney's eyes fell on Lily's desk)

Her desk is always a complete mess.
(Haney tries to arrange it simply.)

Haney's POV: I don't know! How she finds her things, if its a complete mess. She leaves it unorganized.

Haney finds an envelope with their college crest. It looks like a letter.

Haney opens the letter, reads the content and places it back as it was before.

Haney leaves the room. Goes back and lies on her bed.

Haney: LILY HAS BEEN SELECTED TO STUDY AS A EXCHANGE STUDENT.

WOW!!! IT'S A GREAT OFFER....
BUT,...

Why am I feeling sad?

(Tears start rolling off her cheeks)

I should not cry, I must feel happy. Otherwise, she might feel like not leaving.

[MEANWHILE]

LILY: Haney came to my room!
What if she saw the letter?

Mom, I have something to tell you.

[Lily lying in her bed]

Everyone says "Its a great oppurnity".
Maybe I should talk with Haney.
Hmm.....

[The next day]

Lily: Haney, I..I have something that I
wanted to tell you. After the classes,
CAN-WE-MEET-AT-THE-CAFE?

Haney's POV: Is she planning to talk about the exchange program thing?

Haney: Okay! At the cafe!

[At the cafe]

Haney: Lily!
(Waves her hand)

Breathes heavily!!!

I-I have to get back in 10 minutes.

Lily: What happened?
Haney: On my way, Karol just texted me that the professor wants to see me.

She even said "Its a happy news"

Lily: ohh...

Haney: I'm sorry! Can you wait for 15 minutes? I'll come back.
Lily: Okay.

[Time skips]

Lily, its celebration time!🎊
"Haney has been chosen as the exchange student of our department."

Lily: What?
[Slowly gets her consciousness]
Congrats!!

Just wait for a few minutes! I just texted Zach and Eric! Arina is with Zach,right? Maybe, She'll come along with Zach. I
don't have to text her separately.

Lily's POV: Wow!!! She is also going to some other place. But, why? Everyone knows it! Am I the only person who knows it atlast?

[A thousand negative thoughts keeps on appearing on Lily's mind]

Lily: I-I have to leave.

(Haney has a blank expression)
Karol: what?
Lily: I just remembered something.
I'm sorry...

(Lily leaves as quick as she can)

Lily's POV: What the hell is happening?
I can't take it anymore.

Suddenly feels someone grabbing her hand

Lily: Haney? Why are you here?
Haney: Why did you leave?
Lily: I already said I have some work right?

Haney: I know you don't have any work.
Why did you lie? Are you not happy about me getting selected?

Lily: Why would I not be happy?
Are you trying to say I am jealous?
