Annalee Fawley preferred cold over hot. She represented power. Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, Remus Lupin, and James Potter wanted for nothing but warmth. They represented love. For a long time, it was much easier to keep hot and cold separate. Then, for a much longer time, it was decided that it wasn't.
