20 | Fallen Child

Start from the beginning

My tree bloomed in just three seconds, that it withstand any storm that was surrounding it earlier.

And because of that, it bloomed beautifully.

A clap of two, followed by the increasing number of them that caused me to lift my gaze and stopped at the sight of my classmates clapping their hands from amazement even though some of them were laughing at me earlier. I bear no ill though.

Eyes stopped at two people who lead those claps and saw them wiping their tears and proudly smiling at me. I pouted my lips, before lifting my fully-bloomed tree that I felt no pain from my injury since it has healed already. I started walking back to my seat as the announcement of continuing this academy was being implemented by our professor.

I decided to wait for them at the field right after finishing my class for today. I was supposed to be having my makeup physical training class, however, my mentor said he still has something to do for today.

The grasses and trees that are surrounding us make me feel solace in the middle of this school with who knows what's happening inside.

Shock replaced my being, seeing a child with shining golden locks with waves and blue eyes that reminds me of Samara. No, this child's eyes are much lighter than hers! They mimicked the color of the clear sky above and looking at how her orbs are shining with respect as she gazes through me, truth to be told, it confused me to the core!

“Sorry, did I wake you up?” Even her soothing voice gives off inexplicably feelings within me, as my eyes noticed that everything from her, except her white simple dress, seemed glowing under the shade of sun! Her alabaster skin fully compliments her appearance, especially her innocent face that shows no remorse which is far from what I view them to be!

She looks like a Fallen Angel. . . like Samara maybe?

“Samara isn't here,” ani ko sa pag aakalang hinahanap nya ang kanyang kapatid. Hindi ito sumagot ngunit ramdam ko ang tingin nito sa akin.

“Can I sit beside you?” she suddenly asked after minutes of silence, as to when my eyes found her, she's looking at me like a child who's asking for her favorite candy! Her sky-like eyes are so big that they seemed to beg while watching me!

I sighed. Do I have any choice?

A big smile of satisfaction broke out from her lips as she giggles, hoping throughout her way towards my place as she sat down, emitting a slightly ‘yay!’ as soon she sat down while I remained watching her, and didn't realize that I'm smiling until she notices it.

“Master, you look good when you're smiling!” She smiled widely, closing her eyes as her cheeks were tainted with a pinkish glow, which made me averted my gaze and look somewhere instead.

Oh my god! This child is too cute!

Silence hugs us again, however, it wasn't like earlier which I was on full alert, because right now, I felt so much at ease and I don't know, but my birthmark on my back is heating up, with some tingling that could be felt on my skin.

“Master, do you trust Angels?” Tumingin ako sa kanya nang magsalita siya. She's patiently looking at me, her eyes are full of curiosity for my answer regarding her question as in my head, what she calls me keeps echoing.

At first, I decided to ignore it. However, it's the second time she called me Master.

“You know, they're not as bad as what you think they are,” saad nito na ikinaangat ng aking kilay. Hindi pa nga ako sumasagot?

I pursed my lips. “How do you say so?” Ah, she's an Angle. “They are traitors who are greedy enough to sell out their companions, and I don't like those kinds of people. My family despises them for being greedy over power.” But I—

“But you aren't? Because they haven't done anything to your loved ones?”

This kid. . . she isn't a child that she looks to be. She's more like a matured woman hiding beneath the body of a child, and whatever she's planning to do, I don't care anymore.

She's giving me peace, and that's enough already.

She chuckled nervously before standing. “She's right. Mukhang mahihirapan akong kumbinsihin ka sa akin,” bulong nito na ikinaangat ng aking kilay. Kumbinsihin sa akin bilang? I don't get it!

“But Master, I just don't want you to hate yourself for being born of something you don't want to be,” aniya.

At how it turns into white and gold, which I shook my head and maybe she's pertaining about me being born as a broken princess.

But wait, how the hell did she learn about it?

Lifting my head again, I was welcomed by a heart-warming smile this child is giving me. “We will meet again soon, Master. With Daemonia.”

And before I could react, she already left the place where she was earlier like a shining star that she is.

Only that, she's more beautiful than the sun that gives radiant glows to the surroundings.

I'm deeply sorry for only updating today, since I got really busy with online class. I need to focus so I won't be left behind. Idk when to update again. I hope you'll wait for me!

love, Hikari. ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
