jinxy (corpse x reader)

chapter 8

Y/N pov:

I picked up the call and said "hey! so um, i'm at the cafe.", "oh you are? I am too, oh wait are over by the tables?" corpse said. I looked around and saw that i was indeed standing next to the tables, "yep!" is said. "ok I'm coming over." corpse said, "kk" i said then hung up. i felt a tap on my shoulder from behind me, I turned around to see a man with dark hair and and pale skin. "well hey there" corpse said with a smirk, "h-hello" I stuttered causing me to blush and corpse to chuckle a little. "Your really pretty, I mean like.... I thought you would be but, woah." corpse said sounding a little nervous making me go even redder. "thanks, your really pretty too." I say looking at the floor, Corpse blushes then motions that we go order. We get our drinks then go sit at a table near the entrance. 

"this is honestly insane, but I'm so glad we are doing this," corpse said with the cutest big smile, "definitely." I say with a small giggle.   

we talked for a while and I was very happy that it wasn't awkward in person. we talked about everything, family, favorite things, friends, but then we got to love life. "so, are you dating anyone?" corpse said with a bit of a shaky voice, "actually,  I am not." i said blushing. "how about you?" i said, "nope, single as ever." corpse said with a laugh. "haha yeah, I haven't dated in a long time." I said, "same here, any particular reason?" corpse said. "well, my ex was...um... a dickhead honestly" I said with a bit of a nervous laugh. "haha, wow. I can't imagine anyone that could treat you wrong, your like perfect." corpse said, "thanks" I said as my face turned a deep red. "haha, I'm just being honest." he said as he looked in my eyes,  we just looked at each other for a few very long seconds till he looked away. 

we finished up at the cafe and started getting ready to leave, even though I wished this moment would never end. "hey so, we definitely hang out again!" corpse said as we stood up, "for sure!" I said with a big smile.  

when we got up it was raining hard outside, which was extremely weird due to the fact that we lived in San Diego. "oh wow, its pouring." corpse said, "yeah, did you drive here?" I asked, "nope, its about a mile walk." corpse said. This is your chance y/n! you got this, just ask! "well, If you want you can stay at my place till the rain stops, Its just across the street." I said with a shaky voice. "well I wouldn't want to intrude..." corpse said slowly, "oh no! its completely fine." i said with a smile. "well, sure." corpse said, "yay" i say. 

we walk back to my home as quickly as possible. when we made it back to my apartment I opened the door and walked in, corpse not far behind me. "welp, here it is" i say a bit embarrassed because my apartment was a bit untidy. "wow, its so cute." corpse said with a small giggle, "haha, i don't know what you consider cute but ok". corpse mumbled something that sounded like "you" but of course he didn't. I pretended not to have heard it.

"wanna watch a movie?" I ask, "sure!" corpse said with a huge smile.
