Okay, so it's been a hot minute since I've posted a Lexa x you fanfiction (yes, I'm talking about Frozen In Time and All Over Again 👀). I never thought I'd end up posting another to be honest (I'm still VERY salty they killed her, as is everyone), but here we are!
I had this idea for a while and just never got 'round to writing it. It was actually supposed to be a short story (well, shorter than it is now, like 3 or 4 chapters), but for anyone who's ever read anything I've written, you know I can't write 'short' stories to save my life. I have a bad habit of developing every character and backstory soooo this is what it is 😂

A few things to note about the story:
• it's presumed that Lexa became Commander in her early teens, but I changed it to 16 years old to fit in with the story
• this is set before she's Commander so if she seems a little OOC, bear in mind she's still a kid, I don't headcanon her to be constantly broody all her life lmao
• saying that ^ I haven't watched the show in so long so I apologise if I get basic facts wrong – I googled as much as I could!
• there was so much unexplained stuff about Conclave and the nightbloods so I bs'd 90% of this story, sorry if it's terrible
• technically speaking, the grounders spoke in Trigedasleng, but I couldn't write a whole story in a made up language, so I just did the occasional word in it for the ✨ aesthetic ✨
