Chapter 6: Unexpected Surprise

Dusk's (Khonsu) POV

'I am so dead' I thought as I sighed. This is going to take a long time, I was currently not in a good state right now. I have a little oni cowering under my arm, a pretty angry wolf, a fox, a cat, and a dog laughing their heads off. I am what you would call, screwed. "Do you want to explain yourself, Dusk?" Mio said, dangerously calm. "I mean, can I? I feel like you are going to cut me off anyways." I said with my hands up, then I just realized that was so wrong to say in the predicament. Mio then started to steam with anger, she then pulled my ears and dragged me down the hall and took me right away from her friends. "Why do you love Ayame more than me?" Mio asked seriously, but I saw the sadness behind her eyes. "But that's the thing, I don't." I said truthfully. "So sleeping with her is okay?!" She was close to shouting, "She was sleepy! She didn't sleep at all last night! I couldn't just abandon her there." I said, "You..You..." Mio was lost for words and just cried, "You know I'm yours and yours only." I said, "Are you sure about that?" Mio asked, "I mean I can leave if you want." I said as I turned but then she grabbed me and hugged me. "No, I want you to stay." She said, "So you believe me?" I asked, "Well I'm still a little angry that you actually slept with Ayame. So I think you need to pay me back. A reward of my choice." She pouted, I raised my eyebrows.

 "What "rewards" are you thinking about?" I said, genuinely scared. "Well I will think about it." She smirked, I then sighed. At least we are on good terms now. "You will have to do what I say for the rest of the day." She said as she got the idea, "What?!" I said, "You think that's fair?" I defended myself, "Well you think sleeping with Ayame is fair to me?" She said as she turned her head away from me, "Fine..." I said, "Yay! I want a kiss first." She said, I sighed and kissed her on the forehead. She beamed, 'I will get revenge soon, Mio. Mark my words' I thought as we went back, "Well look who's back." Okayu said smugly, Korone was literally about to pass out from laughing, "Did she slap you?" Fubuki asked, Ayame looked at me worryingly. "Did she do anything to you?" Fubuki added, I then sighed and shook my head, "I don't want to talk about it." I said, they then broke down laughing again, "Did Mama Mio give you a whoopin?" Korone wheezed, "That's enough! Or you guys are the ones that are getting a whoopin." Mio said sternly, they immediately shut up.

"Well let's get our burgers shall we?" Mio asked, "Yeah!" Fubuki said, "I'm not hungry, I will just stay here." I said, "No way, you are not staying with Ayame this time. You guys can do something more than sleeping with each other again." Mio said as she pulled me down the hall with Okayu, Korone, and Fubuki. Ayame just blushed, I shrugged to her and waved. She waved back with a smile on her face. "You're becoming like Flare." Fubuki said, "What makes me become her?" I asked, "You're making a harem." Korone replied, then I did a fake gagging sound. "Ayame and I are just friends." I said, "Well she might see you differently, so will Kanatan, since you're the only one that can actually hug her without a casualty." Okayu pointed out, "Susei hugged her once." Korone said, "Oh yeah!" Fubuki said, "You're making girls fall for you and you don't even notice it, blockhead." Mio said quietly, "Oi, how am I a blockhead?" I said, Mio just giggled, "I don't want to go to a fast-food restaurant." I said, "Nope!" Mio said, I then thought of another excuse, "I have to meet up with Roberu, Shien, and Oga." I said, "Tell them you are busy." Mio shot back, I then sighed in defeat as I was dragged by a mama wolf to a burger restaurant.
