"Ko....ki what's wrong?" Shuichi pushed away the leafs and sat next to ouma "Shuichi. Are you aware of everything ive been through?" He looked up hugging his knees still sobbing "i-.." shuichi looked down at the grass "well I've had a hard life. I had never had the luxury of living in a fancy castle and wear good clothes, have a banquet every night..untill i came to work here. Do you think i want to make a fool of myself everyday for money?!" Kokichi looked at shuichi with tears highlighting his face under the moonlight
"Kokichi i- i know nothing has been easy for you but-" "no you dont get it! You're my best friend but you dont know everything.....y-you remember back when we first met here?" Kokichi smiled at the memory while shuichi nodded "well that day when i got home...my mother was dead in the kitchen. My father had left us when i was two and so i was left to the orphanage. The orphanage is hell, they miss treat you, yell at you for the smallest things, i barely ate. It was horrible; i had to grow up faster than a 7 year old should. Could you tell everything that happened when i came here to meet you? No because at that point you were the only good thing that happened in my life. I only took this humiliating job so i would get to talk you you, be around you; and what do i get? The king and queen badmouthing me infront of another royal family! Woohoo! I didnt ask for any of this. I didnt ask to be a clown! I didnt ask to be your entertainment, a loughing stock." Kokichi laughed and wiped away his tears "its so dumb. It is soooooo DUMB!" Kokichi raised his voice and threw his jester hat at the tree infront of them "koki.. y-you dont have to be a jester! Y-you can be a guard? O-or a butler...i just...if you leave i——i couldn't...I'm not making this about me- koki w-what do you want to be?" Kokichi sniffled and shivered "i dont know...but i cant afford to leave and i wont be able to see you so ill stay dont worry.." kokichi sighed and rested his head on Shuichi's shoulder "good" is all shuichi said before smiling
"Nishishi" Kokichi giggled "w-what are you giggling about?" Shuichi looked at the small boy on his shoulder "i dunno...you're sweet..i guess its funny to me sometimes and its cold! Ill turn blue!" Shuichi giggled

"Well...um here" shuichi took off his blazer and put it around Kokichi's shoulders "nishishi~ what a gentleman!"
Shuichi smiled and gazed at the stars with his best friend by his side.
